Join us on a dogsledding odyssey traversing untouched frozen lakes and picturesque forested portages. Our professional dog mushers will take you step-by-step through this unique northern experience, from setting up the dog team, riding on a sled through the trails, and thanking our amazing furry athletes afterward with some well-deserved cuddle time. After your journey, share your stories from the trail and warm up with a hot beverage in our heated Aurora Station!

It was so much fun! The guide was really kind and friendly, and explained a lot of things to us. Dog sledding was a great experience! It was worth trying :) Thank you so much. I made wonderful memories on my trip!

It was a more meaningful time to listen to the surrounding landscape and local history as we went on a dog crawling experience with our daughter. I would especially recommend it to those who can communicate in English. The daughter was very satisfied and had to apply for additional tours afterwards.

This was such an amazing experience with YELLOWKNIFE TOURS!! Verda was prompt and very friendly when she picked us up at the hotel. During the 15 - 20 minutes ride to the Aurora Station/Edonah Kennel, Verda was even giving us a quick tour and some interesting history about Yellowknife. In the kennel, we were able to relax and prepare in their cozt cabin where Cynthia and her team gave a very quick briefing on the mushing experience. THE DOGS WERE ADORABLE AND SO LOVEABLE! You can tell that this tour group and kennel really takes care of the dogs. The experience in itself was amazing and it felt like a dream come true! After about 25 minutes of mushing, we were able to take photos and pet the dogs. From there, we were able to head to the cabin to wrap up the experience with some hot chocolate. We were judst about 9 people in total for the hour group (2 parties only) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YELLOWKNIFE TOURS and I can't wait to go back to yellowknife and book an entire trip with my family with Yellowknife Tours care of Verda!

Amazing experience, the guides are very pleasant and friendly. The facility is well kept. They manage a small batch at a time, well phased with enough time for picts/ vids and to mingle with the huskies.

Great time seeing how much care and attention is given to all the dogs. The ride was fun, though not too long, about 20 minutes. Definitely recommend!
