This is a luxury, small group (nine people) wine tour of Mendoza´s fine wine region.

We spend the day visiting the very best wineries (three to four in one day) and trying the best wines in the most beautiful locations.

A multiple course gourmet lunch with wine pairings is included.

A guide accompanies you throughout the day and gives insights and anecdotes regarding wine and Mendoza.

Many of our guides are trained sommeliers or winemakers. The tour is in one language and the wineries and region (Lujan de Cuyo or Uco Valley) differ from day-to-day as there are many amazing places to see.

Our tours are fun and casual with the focus on exceptional wines, creative food and stunning settings. The wineries we visit differ from day to day but are from a select group of top-quality producers.

What To Expect

Pick up is at 8.45am at your hotel in the Mendoza City area. We visit three wineries throughout the day and have premum tastings including Malbec at each winery. At the first winery we also do a tour of the facility to see what makes Argentine so unique. Each winery we visit is very different and we include small boutique operations and larger, big name wineries. We then have a 5-course gourmet lunch with 5 wines at a winery with beautiful mountan views. We return to your Mendoza City hotel at 5.30pm. The group size is maximum eight people and the price includes tastings and lunch with wine. A guide accompanies you all day and the tour is conducted in an air-conditioned Mercedes mini-bus. Mineral water is provided in the transport vehicle.

We had an amazing time on this tour! Lena was our guide and gave us lots of information on the local wineries and the region. We traveled to 3 wineries in the Uco Valley. The first was a small wine producer where the family’s grandson gave us an in-depth presentation of the wine and the history of the region. All 3 wineries were very different and it was an excellent representation of the wines from that area . The lunch was amazing which included perfectly cooked Tomahawk steaks. Although it snowed during the entire tour, we couldn’t have asked for a better day! I highly recommend this luxury tour .

I really appreciate that although this is a group activity, they carried it out with only one passenger: me! My guide ,Ricci, was friendly, knowledgeable and had a very good level of english. The guides at both wineries were also really good! Both were friendly, knowledgeable and with a good level of English. I got to learn a lot about the production of wine, the history of it and taste some amazing red wine. Then, it was time for the food-wine pairing gourmet meal. It was very tasty and all the combinations worked. The employees were really caring. Overall, the tour is worth it, it was a really good day!

Excellent guide and driver. Visits to wineries were exceptional and friendly. Lunch was top notch, featuring the best filler mignon we ever had. The view of the Andes at the restaurant was breathing. All in all a very worthwhile trip!

I absolutely loved this wine tour with Trout & Wine—it was easily one of the best days of my vacation in Mendoza. Our guide and driver, Ricardo and Sebastian, were amazing. Ricky was super knowledgeable, not just about the wines, but also about the history of the region and the wineries we visited. All of the wineries were excellent, but the second one was my favorite. We got to do the tasting with a sommelier and one of the owners, which made the experience feel really personal and unique. The lunch was also fantastic—great food, beautiful setting, and it paired perfectly with the wine. If you're in Mendoza and thinking about doing a wine tour, I can't recommend Trout & Wine enough. Great wine, great people, and a really memorable day.
