Group size no more than nine people with breakfast and lunch with wine included. Unlike most other Mendoza agencies we actually enter Aconcagua Park and hike for one hour. An extravagant barbecue lunch with limitless wine is also included. Travel the old Trans-Andean railway via minibus on this 8-hour small-group tour. With your guide, pass the snow-capped Cordón del Plata and stop by the turquoise Potrerillos lake on your way to the mountain town of Uspallata. After passing through Penitentes Ski Resort you’ll reach Aconcagua National Park. On your return back you will have the opportunity to stop and see Puente Del Inca, a naturally formed bridge over a steep ravine. Once in Uspallata you’ll enjoy an afternoon lunch of Argentine asado (local style barbecue - not gourmet) before concluding your tour at approximately at 5:30pm.

The experience was the best I could ever expect. The tour guide was Exequiel Quiroga and the driver was Diego. Best team ever! A pickup 4x4 picked my wife and I at the hotel and drove through the Andes until Aconcagua Park. We had a stop after an hour and a half to have a coffee and eat some medialuna at a delightful, clean and delicious cafe (keeping in mind is a tough way, so you don’t have many shops and cafes). Then we drove a bit more until a village where we could see a beautiful view and shop some winter clothes, souvenirs and use the bathroom, then, we’ve been to the park. The guide was amazing. During the entire journey, and then at the park, he told about the history of Mendoza, the road, strategic spots, the Andes, military campaigns, Inca’s camping’s, and much more. Back to Mendoza, we had a lunch at an amazing restaurant with Parriladas, wine and desert. All great! Coming back, as a courtesy, he stopped at a spot where we could see an Inca construction and the river. I definitely wanna go back and do it again in summer.

If you like gorgeous mountains and desert views, this is the trip for you. We went with Diego and Exequiel and they were great. Diego did the driving, and was very safe in an area where you need to expect the unexpected. Exequiel was knowledgeable and fun - the bonus on this trip was that we talked about wine because we were interested and he is an ex-winemaker. We spoke English, and another couple spoke Spanish, so he told us everything in both languages and even translated for us so we could have a conversation. The trip was decently long on two-lane roads, so if you get motion sickness, come prepared. The views are outstanding. The colors of the Andes are memorable. We could not see the top of Aconcagua due to weather, but it was still spectacular. The meal was a typical Argentinian parilla and it was delicious.

Highly recommended trip to explore the mountain side for the first time. Long drive but so well worth it. Our guide Ricardo, has an abundance of knowledge of the area, the mountains, the geology. It was a wonderful day learning about the Andes, seeing the natural wonders and tasting local food. We stopped for a small breakfast on the way before making our way to Puente del Inca and thereafter to Aconcagua Park. The hike was easy. It’s a very well maintained path that is not difficult to follow. The circle is about 2km and offers majestic views of the valley and the mountain (we had clouds covering the tip of Aconcagua) but it was spectacular nevertheless. The day ended with a very special barbecue with a grill full of meat enough to feed a family and another beautiful bottle of Malbec. All in all, we felt very much taken care of and enjoyed a great day out and about!! Thank you also to our driver for a comfortable and safe drive on that route.
