The activities are carried out in a gaucho post located at the foot of the beautiful pre mountain range about an hour from the city of Mendoza. Upon arriving at the place our family will revive them with mates and we will prepare the horses while we give them a talk to give them the knowledge they will need at the time of starting the ride. Once finished we will begin to ride on horseback, for 3 hours, unexplored paths between hills and plains adorned with the imposing framework of the pre Cordillera with the possibility of seeing wild animals such as guanaco, condor, fox and hares. In the middle of the tour we will go up to a viewpoint located at 2000 meters high giving view to a unique landscape of the city and its mountains. There we will get off the horses so they can photograph the majestic landscape and feel the magnificent mountain, after a few minutes we return to the gaucho stand where a typical country roast awaits us, accompanied by roasted vegetables, fresh vegetables and the delicious Mendoza wine that The rest of the evening will accompany us. At 10 pm approximately we undertake the return to the city of Mendoza where our services end.

Great experience! The horses were healthy and extremely well trained. All the staff was super helpful, friendly and the food and wine was amazing. We had great time!

Excellent views, well cared for horses and attentive staff. The horse back riding excursion was the perfect length and asado dinner was excellent. It is recommended to understand some Spanish, but that is true for most things in Mendoza.

One of the best experiences I’ve had traveling. Made new friends, saw incredible scenery, ate amazing food, and laughed, smiled, and sang our souls full of good vibes. I am not sure if our group is the norm but we seemed to all click and had a lot of fun together, impressive considered we were all strangers at the start. The host family and the gauchos, along with the horses are all exceptionally friendly. For about $100 USD, you essentially get an 7 hour experience with pickup, 3 hours on the horses, a 1-2 hour traditional asada BBQ dinner and wine (and we went through a lot, all included!), and transport back into Mendoza. Now, a couple things, they do offer pickup but they will likely have every seat full. It can be tight in the 2nd or 3rd rows of the SUVs. I would still do this all over, but just something to keep in mind. Second, the actual ride itself is more intermediate rather than beginner - and this is coming from me who has done a few horse treks before and my mom who is an avid rider. Some of the ascents and descents are STEEP, and I had to take quite the leap of faith on one part of the descent in particular. I would personally not recommend this to a very novice / beginner unless they are used to more thrilling experiences and comfortable being uncomfortable learning as you go. Make no mistake, DO THIS trek and this one in particular - they are an awesome family run business (shout out to Gabriel who was our driver/facilitator). Just understand the trek is truly 3+ hours (and you will likely be sore after lol) and it can be very hot even if doing the sunset tour (highly recommend to bring or put sunscreen on) and very steep in parts (but exciting at the same time of course).

It was a very good afternoon! Be advised that the location is roughly an hour outside of town and up a very long dirt road. My buddy and I were a bit cramped in the small truck with 2 otherguests. The rustic spot is run by very friendly folks who do a good job explaining everything. The hilltop views are spectacular and the meal served afterward was so good! There were other guests at one big table eating and enjoying the malbec. They had to give us polite hints to go to the waiting transportation back. Definitely recommend!

This was probably the best experience we had on our holiday. Estella and Cecilia (hopefully I've got that right) gave us the warmest welcome with fresh lemonade, juice, and tea. Estella then talked us all through what we would be doing. Although a few of the people in our group were a little apprehensive about the steepness and height of the climb, everyone managed it and the horses did a great job. Helmets were available. I had never ridden a horse before, but that was not an issue at all; the horses really did do all of the work, you just had to lean forwards or backwards a little when going up or down hill (though they explain all of this when you're there). The horses were very well looked after and were happy walking along the trail. The views throughout were incredible, but the view from the top of the peak we went to were truly breath-taking. The dinner and wine at the end were delicious and a great way to round-off the experience. Our driver, Daniel, who got us to the gaucho post drove very well and smoothly and was also extremely friendly, as were all of the team there. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who is in Mendoza.

It was unforgettable.. but even more the warmth welcome by the staff of “ el relincho” after riding in a beautiful evening. The dinner was better … authentic asado. Highly recommend this experience. It felt like friends invited over . you will leave Mendoza with appreciation of its people.

Absolutely fantastic; the highlight of Argentina for me and my husband. Stella and her family and friends and horses (and pack of gorgeous dogs who come with) are such wonderful hosts. The trek was amazing, the scenery beyond your dreams. The horses are so gentle and brilliant for beginners like myself. It’s a long ride but you want it to go on forever; there are spectacular views, and even though we got caught in a heavy rain shower we soon dried out with the fires in the main barn where we were plied with outstanding dinner, the best food I’ve had not only in Argentina but since I can’t remember when anywhere: heaps of the most tender steak; pork; grilled cheesy peppers, perfect actual potato wedges, crispy beautifully dressed salad and the freshest salsa! What an absolute treat, what an afternoon/evening. If you don’t do anything else in Argentina do this!

It was lovely and perfectly organized! Landscapes are lovely, horses are really sweet and the staff/guides are professional, super safety oriented. The asado and wine were great as well, fresh products, food to share and good vibes. Lovely, a must try. If you are an experienced rider, you might get bored though, it’s a serene walk in the mountain
