The activities are carried out in a gaucho post located at the foot of the beautiful pre mountain range about an hour from the city of Mendoza. Upon arriving at the place our family will revive them with mates and we will prepare the horses while we give them a talk to give them the knowledge they will need at the time of starting the ride. Once finished we will begin to ride on horseback, for 3 hours, unexplored paths between hills and plains adorned with the imposing framework of the pre Cordillera with the possibility of seeing wild animals such as guanaco, condor, fox and hares. In the middle of the tour we will go up to a viewpoint located at 2000 meters high giving view to a unique landscape of the city and its mountains. There we will get off the horses so they can photograph the majestic landscape and feel the magnificent mountain, after a few minutes we return to the gaucho stand where a typical country roast awaits us, accompanied by roasted vegetables, fresh vegetables and the delicious Mendoza wine that The rest of the evening will accompany us. At 10 pm approximately we undertake the return to the city of Mendoza where our services end.

5.00Absolutely fantastic; the highlight of Argentina for me and my husband. Stella and her family and friends and horses (and pack of gorgeous dogs who come with) are such wonderful hosts. The trek was amazing, the scenery beyond your dreams. The horses are so gentle and brilliant for beginners like myself. It’s a long ride but you want it to go on forever; there are spectacular views, and even though we got caught in a heavy rain shower we soon dried out with the fires in the main barn where we were plied with outstanding dinner, the best food I’ve had not only in Argentina but since I can’t remember when anywhere: heaps of the most tender steak; pork; grilled cheesy peppers, perfect actual potato wedges, crispy beautifully dressed salad and the freshest salsa! What an absolute treat, what an afternoon/evening. If you don’t do anything else in Argentina do this!

5.00It was lovely and perfectly organized! Landscapes are lovely, horses are really sweet and the staff/guides are professional, super safety oriented. The asado and wine were great as well, fresh products, food to share and good vibes. Lovely, a must try. If you are an experienced rider, you might get bored though, it’s a serene walk in the mountain

5.00This was an outstanding experience and definitely one of my highlights from my time in Argentina. The hosts were all lovely, knowledgeable and generous. The tour led through beautiful landscape and up the mountains, with an incredible view, and back again for a delicious dinner with wine. The drive to the farm was an experience in itself. The horses are the true stars of the show, they are incredible on the rocky terrain. The adorable dogs were a cute bonus! Would definitely do this again.

5.00We did the Sunset Horse Back Riding and BBQ with these guys via GetYourGuide. It was a really special and memorable experience. You are first picked up from Mendoza and driven for a fair bit (c 30mins) to the ranch at the foot of the Andes. At the ranch you meet the other people, massive lovely dogs, farm animals and, of course, horses. After a bit of waiting / lemonade, we started being asigned horses. I got a lovely black guy called Sino. The group then start trekking off and it stunning. I was new to horse riding, so it took a bit of learning, but I enjoyed it. The horses sometimes gallop a bit to stay in touch with each other which is scary but exhilarating! Eventually there is a proper uphill bit that the horses are amazing at, even if intimidating, and we got to the main view point and got off there for 30 mins or so. The views of the Andes and landscape were incredible. I am giving this place 5 stars because overall it was one of the best things I did in Argentina. However a couple of points for improvement - (i) while the main guy has some good English and is nice, he does not accompany you on the horses and the two others had no English and were not very friendly, (ii) linked to this, they were not the most helpful with people who had concerns or fears and they could spend a bit longer "teaching" people. E.g. they were quite dismissive of a girl in our group who got scared and her horse kept galloping and my foot holder kept falling off on one side but they weren't that bothered. I do get that they do need people not to be 'snowflakes' and to 'man up' to enjoy it and get through and that they are very experienced but they could be a bit friendlier and even smile a bit and stop staring crossly with ciggarettes in their mouths! Aside from this, the way back was peaceful and the bbq and wine was really delicious and enjoyable with the group after. You are then dropped back to Mendoza. Good value for c €100pp. An amazing experience with loads of stories after!

5.00Amazing experience, cater to all levels of confidence and skill. Super nice family run business, bbq after was excellent, plenty wine and meat! Driver was courteous and timely. You need to do this tour. Views of Mendoza from the top of the hill was spectacular.

4.00This was a real challenge for me as a first time rider but I really enjoyed the trip. We rode up and down some steep paths but the horses were amazing. My only negative was lack of riding helmets on rocky tracks. It felt a little risky.

5.00A great trip to the mountains at 2800 meters. Very good and friendly horses. The accompanying gauchos were also friendly and trustworthy. You should be able to ride a bit. It's too dangerous without knowing. It goes up and down very steeply. The Asado in the evening is another highlight

5.00It was incredibly beautiful, Ezequiel and the others did a great job, the group was fantastic and the Estancia with all its animals and delicious food was just great.
