A stop at Fu Wi Flavaz restaurant for a food tasting experience of Belize local cuisine and the new feature "from pond to frying pan" showcases a tour of the farm grounds which includes 3 tilapia fish ponds and a 17 x 60 cover structure / green house with fresh vegetables production for market and for the restaurant use.
Fresh catch your tilapia for the cook to prepare with traditional spices and condiments for your enjoyment . For the non fish enthusiast other menu items include Chicken, Pork and Shrimp all prepared with simple yet fresh ingredients and served with favorite lunch special sides of coconut rice and beans, fresh salads, tortillas and much more.
The restaurant features an outdoor fire grill to smoke and roast meats . A blooming garden, open décor dining space with live tropical plants adorning the pillars and surroundings. Large open windows and bamboo walls complete the tropical feel and look.

5.00This experience was worth every penny and every hour spent! Our guide was very knowledgeable and cooked us the fish we caught! The ruins were amazing. A must have experience for a group of friends looking for a great half day adventure! This fanily owned business deserves more than a good review! Come see their place and spend your time with these local folks.

5.00Everything we did was memorable! Antuane was our driver and is full of interesting stories and he made sure we did what we were expecting to do. However, there was some confusion and while I was told it was due to my wrong selection of tour, upon arriving back home, I looked at everything carefully and the misunderstanding was because of the detail listed in the tour on Viator! This tour does NOT include the cave tubing even though the details clearly list tubing equipment, helmet w. lamp/light, life jacket and inner tube". So although Antuane went out of his way to make sure we received a fantastic all day experience - we had to pay an unexpected fee of $85 USD each to do the cave tubing. This detail needs to be removed from the "What's Included" section of this tour! I felt a bit cheated as other tour is $109. for all of it. I would like a partial refund for the difference between the everything tour of $109 and the total I had to pay of $165 ($80 + $85) because of misprinted information on the page of the tour I selected. My friend should receive the same refund. The experience was fantastic, my friend and I had a fabulous time, the company wanted us to be 100% happy and the food at Fu Wi Flavaz was amazing!!!! Fresh tilapia and the stew chicken was unbelizable!!! Thank you Antuane and Family!!!!
