Lets explore Maya Ruins of Altun Ha and float through caves of cave branch with a 6-hour tour from Belize City to Altun Ha and the Caves Branch River. Enjoy the plazas and towering pyramids as you visit Altun Ha archeological site with your guide, and see the precious treasures excavated from the Temple of the Green Tomb. Hike through the jungle in order to start our cave tubing adventure through caverns as your headlight illuminates cave walls with crystal formations and stalactites.

We will drive for 1 hour to Visit the Maya site of Altun Ha and after we are done with the tour we then drive for about 1 hour and 20 mins to cave tubing site once there you will be tubing and underground a cave system. It will take us a 30 mins walk to get to the entrance off the caves then we float for about 35 mins in the cave and about 25 mins of open river tubing.

5.00Our driver and guide for the ruins and part of our tubing was Eric. He was very entertaining and accommodating Explained the history of the ruins and even on the ride through the villages of Belize city. Our river tubing guide Enrique was also very accommodating to a more relaxed pace for my 75 year old mother..and let's be honest, also me (37). The hike was about 30 to 45 minutes, brief moments in the sun but mostly under shaded canopy from the trees. You do some mellow river crossings so make sure your shoes are not simple water shoes, you need one with good soles. So many different types of plants and trees to learn about. If you look down while walking, you see little cutter ants transporting their leave back to their colonies ever few feet. We then stopped for lunch and had a delicious belizian chicken stew meal and headed back to San Pedro

5.00We had a private tour with the Ten Star General and he made the day amazing!! Our trip was fantastic and by the end of it we had a lifelong friend. 💯 recommend him and look forward to coming back and having him guide us…..

5.00Luis was fantastic! Great communicator, took good care of us, super knowledgeable, patient. The van was very comfortable and convenient, all food and fees were taken care of. Abe we didn’t even have to carry our inner tubes! Highly recommended!

5.00Hands down tge best excursion from our cruise! Abel was attentive and knowledgeable. He worked hard to time everything to get us back to ship with plenty of time. Soooo much better than taking ship tours with a 100 of your closest friends! Because our ship had different timing than others in port, ours became a private excursion. Altun Ha was really amazing . But have to say the cave tubing was definitely a highlight! Lunch at a small local restaurant was really good as well. I would definitely recommend this to all my family and friends!

5.00Great tour! Erick & Luis were great tour guides. Picked us up from the water taxi and took us to the Temples first then the Cave Tubing. We were there early so the temples weren’t packed at all so made for great photos. The cruise to the caves was nice and pleasant the ac in the van was very comfortable. Heads up good photo op to get a photo of the sleeping giant mountains on the way to the cave tubing just be ready to snap a photo from the car. The lunch was delicious Belizean stewed chicken with rice and beans. The side of pickled onions is spicy but delicious if you like hot stuff. The cave tubing was great. It’s about a 30 min beautiful walk. The water is nice refreshing and cold.

5.00Luis was an amazing guide. I woild definitely recommend this tour again. He communicated with me the night before. He picked us up at our hotel on time and prompt, as well as dropped us back off. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, & courteous. We did not feel rushed from one destination to the next. Exploring Altun Ha ruins was breathtaking taking and amazing. Lunch was provided, the stew chicken & rice was absolutely delicious. Jose was our guide for the cave tubing. He was also friendly, courteous, knowledgeable. Again we weren't rushed, we were able to enjoy the views of the jungle (quick 20 minute walk to cave). The caves were amazing, nice clear waters. He let us get off of the tubes and walk around some of the cave areas and even jump into the water inside the cave. It was an amazing experience all around. Thank you Luis & Jose, you made our first trip to Belize worthwhile.
