Take a full 10-hour day trip to Petra and step back in time! We shall start this tour off in the morning with a departure from your selected hotel taking a the drive down the Deseret highway for approximately 3 hours to reach the astonishing site of the rock city of Petra.
A beautiful historic city , This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital once dominated the Arabian trade routes.
At the Visitor Center buy your tickets to Petra and also you can hire a local guide (optional) and explore the majestic site.
Pass the Siq, a narrow gorge where you get the first close views of the colorful sandstone, ending at the beautiful treasury. Walk along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, the theater, and Qasr Al Bint.
After you have visited and seen Petra the driver will be waiting for you at the Visitor Center ready to depart on the way back to Amman or Amman airport.

You will depart from the selected place of pickup and start your 3-hour drive (approximately) towards the Petra site in an air-conditioned vehicle and will have one stop to take a break on the way.

Once you arrive at the visitor center in Petra, the driver will assist with the purchase of your tickets and a local guide (optional) if you are interested in more information about the architecture and history of the area.

5.00Overall excellent experience. Our driver was Adnan. He was fluent in English, and communication was very clear. My husband speaks zero arabic and understood him completely. He reached out a day prior to our trip to provide contact information and confirm pick up location. He arrived early. The car was clean, air conditioned, and he provided us with water. On the ride to Petra, half way through the, we stopped at a rest stop (restrooms, tea, coffee, food, souvenirs). He provided us with a map and tips and tricks to navigate Petra which were helpful. He also gave us a modem so we can have wifi during our hike through Petra. We spent about 3 hours in Petra, and met him at the pick up point when we were done. On the ride home, we similarly stopped about half way through at a rest stop (restrooms, tea, coffee, food, souvenirs). Overall the ride was a little over 3 hours each way from our location in Amman. I felt safe with him as a driver. He provided some history and context one the drive, but also was quiet when he saw we were tired and needed to rest. Superb experience!

5.00Great experience from beginnging to the end. Our driver, Mohammad Bardaghawi, was super profressional from the beginning (contacted us via WhatsApp the day before, arrived early w/ pictures of his car/plates), and treated us to some local refreshments on the way to Petra as well as something to cool us down on the way back. The drive was easy (it's a bit long but so worth it) and there were good vibes all around. Petra speaks for itself, and I'd highly recommend choosing to hire one of the local Bedouin tour guides as they are extremely knowledgable and passionate about the area. Super cool experience and I'd recommend this tour to anyone that wants to experience the magic of Petra and it's place in history - if Mohammad is your driver, you know you'll be in good hands.

5.00Petra is a MUST-SEE bucket list experience truly a sight to behold. I cannot say enough good things about the tour guide company. My driver - Bardaghawi is simply a gem of a human being. His professionalism and courtesy is exceptional. He arrived on time and waited patiently for me to arrive. I would advise anyone doing this tour - leave no later than 8/830 as Petra demands a full day from you. The drive from Amman to Petra is approx 3 hrs, but Bardaghawi made the ride enjoyable and very informative. Once we were there, Bardaghawi gave me his wifi, so we could communicate - how cool was that - not only was i able to communicate via whatsapp to him, but also with family to let them see what i was seeing. Make sure you get the Jordan Pass, as it makes seeing sites around Jordan much more economical. Bardaghawi gave me tips of how to use the golf carts both ways from the Treasury to save overall time. What a tip! I will highly recommend this company and this driver. They know their stuff!

5.00Even if you only have a little time in Jordan, this is an absolute must-do trip. Our driver Shadi was really proactive, reaching out the night before to confirm all our pick-up details, and made getting down south and seeing Petra stress-free. Once we arrived, he linked us up with an amazing guide, and we all felt like we got as much time as we wanted to explore without ever feeling rushed. Highly recommend!
