5.00Maddy was a great tour guide, very personable and knowledgeable. We visited several small shops and restaurants, trying vexatious foods from delicious cheeses to raw fish. Very knowledgeable about the history, places to go, and things to do.

5.00Each location had different options, overall good portions, and it was very dutch!! So much fun, Ginevra was a great guide. I am gluten free and she talked with the people at each location to make sure there was something I could eat! She was knowledgeable and very welcoming.
Just go on the tour, you’ll have fun.

5.00Excellent variety of places. They were not tourist spots, but they were small, out of the norm experiences. Also, the food was quite varied, from Suriname, Indonesia, and traditional Dutch. Ginerva was really knowledgeable, not just about food, but history and culture, as well.
We saw many parts of the city and learned a lot!

5.00Maddie was wonderful, warm and so knowledgable! She answered all of questions and gave us great tips👌🏼 She took us to a variety of restaurants and gave us the history of each one. As we walked, she pointed out important buildings and points of interest.
Maddie’s walking tour was the best!

5.00This is an excellent tour that showcases small, neighborhood restaurants, and a broad variety of cuisine that are local to Amsterdam and the Netherlands. The restaurants selected are the ones that nearly residents would go to for dinner or a bite, and allowed you to feel what a real local would experience. Our guide, Maddie, was knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhoods and food, and brought with her personal experience of growing up in a foodie family (her father has won 15 James Beard Awards) and was exceptional for her engagement, stories, and knowledge. I would do this tour again if Maddie was leading it.
