Ananuri - 16 -17th cc fortress and church, which used to be the residence of the Eristavis (dukes) of Aragvi. The complex comprises fortification, 3 churches and other cult and civic buildings, overlooks Jinvali manmade reservoir and controls the area.

5.00the day was filled with beautiful sites and historical buildings. Nugo our guide taught so much history and was a great host. She answered everything that we had questions for as she is so knowledgeable Georgia. his English is perfect and most importantly she is so absolutely kind and spending the day together was the best part of the entire trip to this wonderful country. 5.00Everything was great. We had a good day in Kazbegi where we had snow mountain experience. We tried the cable car and many more. We visited the Ananuri Fortress, Zhinvali water reservoir and Aragvi River , Gergeti trinity church Overall experience was the best. We will definitely come again and book with them once we go to Georgia in the future.
