2.00Guide was fine but we saw more on a municipal bus later on. Good to hear some local history but certainly not one of our better tours and we have been on hundreds in our long experience. First stop was a souvenir shop with a cooking knife display which cost a fortune. (No doubt a little backhander for the guide for any sales). Usual spiel. Second stop an old railway wagon, then the top of a house buried in the ground, and a park where there is a crack from the 1960s earthquake (there is actually nothing to see), then a mural on the side of a school, a drive through the seaplane airport to see a plane taking off woo hoo and lastly a parking lot with a view of the bay and industrial harbour. Very disappointed.

4.00We had a very good tour of Anchorage. We learned a lot about Anchorage. We had a very good guide. The Ulu factory was interesting, Earthquake park showed the interesting fault line. Loved watching the float plane seaport.
Worth it. Go see more of Anchorage areas.
