  It's 14 sites throughout the city. Alot of stupas - some more interesting than others. Wear socks as bare feet on searingly hot sand and tiles is painful if you're not used to it.

  Our TukTuk Driver was Professional and So Friendly. He has an exceptional knowledge of roads around ancient city of Anuradhapura. We will keep an excellent memory of this day and were very find this tuktuk tour within the first day of our tour! The experience was wonderful and he did best for us. We had a great time!!   Take 2 days to see Anuradhapura city. Buy tickets 25$ per person per day. Take tuk tuk or walk or take car. It’s hot while walking. Keep water. You need to take of shoes at different Buddhist temples. Wear decent attire. Be respectful. See Sri Maha Bodhi; Ruwanveseliseya Dagoba ; Abhayagiri Stupa ; Moonstone; Lankaramya Stupa- much more! The first kingdom and capital of Ceylon, 22 centuries of history to 12th century. Embrace Buddhist heritages and imagine that world. Be safe!
