We will visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve where you’ll have the opportunity to view and photograph wildlife in its natural habitat. Dalls sheep, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, mule deer, wapiti (elk), woodland caribou, wood bison, musk-ox, moose, arctic fox and even lynx can all be seen on this tour. It's a photographer's and naturalist's dream to see Yukon's wildlife up close and you will be in the front-row to learn about wildlife living year-round in the True North.

Yukon Wildlife Preserve
Your tour guide will lead you through the Yukon Wildlife Preserve on a personal tour. The tour bus will stop at each wildlife enclosure with ample time to learn about each animal and to take beautiful photos. Dalls sheep, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, mule deer, wapiti (elk), woodland caribou, wood bison, musk-ox, moose, arctic fox and even lynx can all be seen on this tour. 5.00This tour was made well, and we loved it that we were allowed flexibility in choosing the nights we wanted. We appreciated it that there were snacks and hot drinks inside a warm cabin while we waited for the aurora borealis to appear.

3.00Unfortunately the guides were not particularly knowledgable about the animals. Several animals were not seen, however if we had been given information about them as we saw their habitat, we would have benefitted.
