Step into Asakusa for a lively, hands-on sushi experience blending culture, skill, and celebration — perfect for families, couples, and friends of all ages.
Start with Kagami-biraki: chant "Yoisho!", open a sake barrel, and toast to new beginnings (non-alcohol option available).
Then learn nigiri essentials — shape rice, handle toppings, and place fish like a pro. No experience needed — kids love it, and first-timers always feel right at home.
Create 6–10 pieces, finish with a matcha ceremony, and leave with skills and photos the whole family will treasure.

Absolutely incredible experience! It’s an intimate time that our family truly enjoyed and made our trip even better. They do such a great job explaining the history of sushi and taking their time for us to really understand how to make it! Would highly recommend if you want a fun and personal experience to share with your family or friends:)

Ken is an excellent instructor. We came across this class on the day of and booking was very simple. We learned a lot about the history of sushi and how to make it. The class was well-organized and fun. The team provided great conversation about general Japanese culture as well. We even got some special tips on where to find early cherry blossoms in February nearby. I feel confident after this class that i could start making sushi at home.

We really loved the sushi workshop. First a sake ceremony, then sushi rolled and finally made matchas. Really a great experience and really finished our Japan trip!

I took my parents with me, and they both talked endlessly about this shop. Overall it was very well planned and the staff were very kind. My father, who had a lot of likes and dislikes, also really enjoyed it.
