DAY 1: WELCOME TO THE RANCH AND SCENIC HORSE TOUR TO KABANBAI BATYR MAUSOLEUM. You will be picked up from your location in Astana and brought to the ranch. Meet your instructors and horses and settle into the ranch's welcoming atmosphere. Learn the basics of horsemanship and enjoy your first ride, exploring the peaceful surroundings of the ranch. Savor a traditional Kazakh lunch inside an authentic yurt during the summer, or dine at the Ranch in other seasons. Then, embark on a scenic horse tour to the Kabanbai Batyr Mausoleum. Conclude your day with a delicious traditional Kazakh dinner, accompanied by warm company and captivating cultural stories. As the sun begins to set, enjoy a serene evening ride across the steppe, soaking in the golden hues of the landscape. Back at the ranch, unwind with a soothing sauna session, a delightful homemade dessert, and a revitalizing cup of tea. Afterward, settle in for a peaceful night's sleep in the cozy accommodations at the ranch.

DAY 2: IMMERSION IN RANCH LIFE AND RIVER NURA EXPLORATION. Start your day with a hearty traditional Kazakh breakfast featuring freshly baked bread, homemade jams, and warm tea. Then, embark on an extended trail ride through the picturesque steppe landscapes, putting your newly learned riding skills into practice. Savor a delicious lunch of authentic Kazakh dishes, such as savory pilaf or tender beshbarmak, accompanied by refreshing salads and kumis. Afterward, dive into authentic ranch work, learning the essentials of horse care, grooming, and the rhythms of daily ranch operations. Then, set out on a scenic tour along the tranquil Nura River, soaking in the serene beauty of the countryside. End the day with a traditional Kazakh dinner. After dinner, relax in the soothing warmth of the sauna, indulge in a decadent dessert, and sip revitalizing tea. Unwind and recharge, readying yourself for tomorrow's exciting adventures.

    I stayed at the Taiburyldyn Shabysy Ranch with two of my friends for 5 days and then we had a 5 day horse trek in Burabay National park. At the ranch we combined horse riding days with city outings. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. You can tell that the horses are loved and cared for. My friends are all advanced riders, me not so much, but we were able to start our adventure right away! The weather was lovely so we had two rides a day for three days, we alternated horses on each ride, so they could rest. The owner accompanied us on most rides. She is thoughtful, attentive and funny. We went with her on guided tours to “the old city” and “the new city”. On another day we went to museums with a different member of the ranch. The food at the ranch is delicious and plentiful! For the last five days of our stay we went with their team to a guided horse riding trek in Burabay National Park where we rode for 6 hours a day and stayed at a local and modern farmhouse. We had so much fun! I want to thank Alima for being such an amazing host and for keeping such beautiful and smart horses! I recommend this tour to anyone who loves beautiful sights, tasty food and good company! Thank you guys so much for the unbelievable adventure!

    Stayed here with my wife for a week, both of us haven’t done any horse riding since we were teenagers, but we were excited to try it! Excellent decision to do so at this ranch, the horses are calm and wonderful, steppe is endless and city attractions are better with a local guide. Every day we took a different route and a different horse! We spend one night in the yurt on the property, one night camping and the rest of the days in the guesthouse. The food is really good. Two of the 7 days we spend exploring the capital with local guides, it was a very interesting, all the other days we were riding horses. If you like adventure and active discovery then this place for you!
