Theatre of Dionysus
Dionysus' Theater or Dionysus' Theater Elefthereos is the most important known open-air theater in ancient Athens and is regarded as the world's first theater. It was about 3 meters above the temple and was part of Elefthereos' sanctuary. Dionysos was the main venue for Attic drama because it hosted the Great Dionysia, Athens' largest theatrical festival.

5.00I cannot recommend Nasos more. He took us around to not only our spots that we wanted to see but the spots that he has a deep passion and appreciation for. He got us ahead of the crowds at every stop and even made adjustments based off of crowds and traffic. In a day where we had a fairly open slate, it felt like it flew by with Nasos. I feel like we could have spent a week here and got in his car every day and still not have seen the extent of his knowledge and appreciation for his country.

5.00I booked this excursion for my husband and I for the conclusion of our 7 night Mediterranean cruise. We were flying out the same day our ship arrived in port so I was looking for a half or full day tour that gave us a chance to see the highlights. This tour was perfect and It was the perfect ending to our vacation! Nasos was simply amazing!! You can tell he LOVES what he does. He was knowledgeable, showed us hidden gems around Athens, catered our tour to our desired sights and was incredibly kind. Book this tour and ask for Nasos, you will be happy you did!
