  Nice to see Auckland from the water but the commentary was just being read from a script. We had felt it was ok value until we see they charged in US dollars. Despite providing screenshots of Can pricing and asking for a partial refund we got a standard reply. It was annoying as they didn’t even care and gave me the run around. I would not do this tour again - look for a better option for booking as well.

  Our boat had 3 levels. We found the enclosed ground level the most comfortable. It had large windows for clear vision and numerous speakers to hear the live commentary (only in English). The middle deck was enclosed and had side windows but no front windows. The top deck was open and too windy. The RHS of the boat is best because most of the sights are on that side. Nat provided the commentary which was clear and easy to understand. He didn’t talk too fast and gave enough time for passengers to look and identify the points of interest as he discussed them. Mid-week it is cheaper to book this tour directly with Fuller’s 360 on their website ($49 NZD). We booked with Viator in AUD with a promo code, and it was slightly more expensive.

  Overall a very good experience, turned up early and were allowed to go on earlier sailing. Guide was good and informative, trip was 90 mins as advertised and good length. Views were lovely and gave a good overview of the estuary area

  Great but I don’t like there being a 100 minimum - we are all busy people - if you want people to do this and not just give up, I would change this

  You could not hear the host up on the deck due to poor speakers. Also... She could have been a little more dynamic and energetic in her speaking.

  You have the option of being up on deck or, if the weather changes, go down to a comfy large cabin with big windows and A/C. Don't miss any sites from either spot

• Viator sent us to the wrong place, ruined our 3 day trip to NZ.

  This is a review of Viator‘s mis-handling of the booking. Sent us to the wrong place. In additioan, instructions were unclear on arrival time or looking for signage. They just wanted to make the money through the booking and does not take care of informing the guest of the correct dock . We booked this well in advance and was very much looking forward to it, planned our three day NZ itinerary around this activity, the only cruise was offered is 1:30pm so we had to decide against going to North Island and seeing Hobbiton, which was on the top of my list. Once we got to the piers following the address and instructions from Viator, and we carefully read it several times and even had a print out, also we clicked on the reservation and the link via confirmation email, told us dock 13 at 1:30 no other insturctions. Another group of 5-6 also booked through aviator were waiting there. When 1:30pm came and passed we asked someone if the ship was coming. They didn’t know either, but pointed to the other docks to the right and we quickly walked over and only then to find out that Harbor Cruise was actually on dock 11 and there was no signage except for one small standing flag, and we had just missed the boat, as it left the dock minustes ago. My group and the other group were royally disappointed. And the three boat company gals we spoke to were very apologetic from Fuller 360, they said several other people who also booked through Viator had the same problem that day. I was so disappointed I almost cried. Will be tough to book anything through Viator again, traveling across the globe and back takes days and huge resources, Viator should take care to not ruin people's international trips with bad and wrong information.

  Not that informative for a harbour cruise and there was a lack of passion. Fix speakers at back of boat so can hear the commentary

  Great tour & great views! We had a wonderful afternoon on top deck. A bit difficult to hear up top but still amazing way to see Auckland harbor.
