Chase the Aurora! This night time snowmobile tour combines the best of both worlds: snowmobiling and Aurora viewing! The Aurora Sleighers tour is operated in the beautiful Goldstream Valley located about 15 minutes North of Fairbanks and is the perfect location for unobstructed Aurora viewing! The tour runs from 10PM to 1AM and covers the best time when the Aurora is most active! Throughout the tour we will cruise beneath the night sky on the snowmobiles, and we will break along the way at multiple vantage points to view the scenery and enjoy the night sky. If the Aurora are dancing at any point during our tour we will stop, pull over, turn off the engines, and enjoy the tranquility of the peace and quiet while being amazed by the Aurora! Don’t forget to dress warm, and bring your cameras and tripods!

5.00My husband and I met Jeff, the most amazing tour guide ever, for an evening excursion on snowmobiles to visualize the northern lights. We had the most magical experience. The machines were so much fun. We traveled along open fields and trails through the pristine forests and across a frozen pond. The aurora was on full display. We were completely awestruck. Jeff is also a wildlife specialist and he was able to share his knowledge regarding the Aurora and the flora and fauna of the area. Jeff’s enthusiasm and excitement was infectious.He also took beautiful photos which he forwarded to us the following morning. This excursion was, by far, the most memorable event of our entire trip. Do not hesitate to choose this tour for the time of your life!

5.00We did the night time tour and had the best time. Josh was our guide. He made sure we were dressed appropriately and then gave us instructions on how to operate the machines. He was very professional and communication was great. We highly recommend Snow Sleighers.

5.00This trip was so much fun! All of the family have different levels of experience and comfort with snow sleighs. Colton did an excellent job of accommodating each of us and giving us an amazing time! Highly recommend this tour!

5.00The snowmobile and aurora light chase tour was an amazing experience, and Jeff was a BIG help in creating it. Super responsive and knowledgeable. He told us that the day we booked the tour had a very poor chance of seeing the aurora, and I’m glad he did. The following Monday, it showed and made my trip! Highly recommend 🤙🏽🤙🏽

5.00Bow provided us with an Aurora worthy experience!! Super informative, kind, and knows the best spots around Alaska but the best part, this snowmobile tour to see the Northern Lights is out of this world. Strongly recommend doing this if your from Alaska or just stopping in, a lifetime experience you will remember forever. Thanks Bow!!

5.00My friend and I had truly the best time with the Aurora Sleighers! We spent our first night in Fairbanks doing this snowmobiling tour, and got so lucky with the show of a lifetime from the northern lights. It was our first time snowmobiling and though we were anxious at first, you really end up getting the hang of it. They make stops so you can watch the lights - it’s beautiful. A recommendation - go to the bathroom before you get there. They only have an outhouse. And maybe bring some hand/feet warmers if you get cold easily. Our guides were great and very personable. We felt safe and would’ve happily done another tour if we had the time.

5.00Had such a great experience! We had two tour guides who were super friendly and knowledgeable. This was my first time snowmobiling and I was a bit nervous at first, but ended up loving it! We stopped at two spots to see the northern lights, with the second stop being the most magical and vibrant. It is a long ride and it does get very cold at night, but it’s so worth it! Dress warm and take a nap before you go, and you’re all set!

5.00Awesome experience, Jeremy is a rockstar guide!! Getting an Uber there and back was tricky because it was peak tourist season but it worked out for us. We went on an unforgettable tour and it was absolutely the highlight of our trip. Jeremy called us prior to the tour to let us know it would be too cloudy to see the aurora, and gave us the opportunity to reschedule. It was our last night in town so we decided to go for it and ended up being the only two at the tour. Even without the aurora it was a blast and I can't recommend the experience enough. Thanks for a fabulous time, Jeremy!!! We had an absolute blast exploring with you!

5.00What an amazing adventure! It was chilly but I was prepared with a lot of layers. Fingers and toes were the hardest to keep warm so bring heat packs. Our guide Josh was great! We did get to see the northern lights! Highly recommend!
