5.00Great tour and an amazing guide, Kosei. The information was very interesting, and I learned a lot about geisha, maiko, as well as the religious rituals and symbols along the way. The tour was fun and easygoing, making it a perfect way to end my trip. It would also be a great introduction at the beginning of a Kyoto visit. Exploring at night, without the crowds, really helps you appreciate the area more, and the dimly lit atmosphere makes the walk even more beautiful.

5.00Kosei was an excellent guide and made the tour very enjoyable and informative. I only wish I had joined this tour at the beginning of my trip to Japan, as I learned so much that helped me better understand other places I visited. Exploring the district at night was a great experience, and we got to see all the key spots.

5.00This is the best tour I experienced in Kyoto. Our guide, Suganuma was fantastic! He showed us to both must-see spots and local gems, which were much quieter during night. He was both funny and knowledgeable.
Raiki led us well.

5.00Amazing tour and a fantastic guide. I learned so much about geisha, maiko, and the meaning behind many religious symbols we saw during the walk. The explanations were clear and very interesting. The tour was fun, relaxed, and a perfect way to end my trip. I also think this tour would be great at the beginning of a Kyoto visit to understand the culture better. Doing the tour at night made it even more special. There were fewer people, the streets felt peaceful, and the soft lighting created a beautiful atmosphere for walking around Gion.

5.00We had a fantastic 2-hour tour with Motoya. He was an incredible guide and super knowledgeable! The highlight was definitely Yasaka Shrine—the atmosphere and the history he shared were amazing. Highly recommend this tour if you're in Kyoto!
Gion at night is a whole different world! Hinata’s insights were a series of discoveries.

5.00I joined the Gion night tour with Hinata, and it was incredible! The views of Tatsumi Daimyojin Shrine and the Shirakawa Canal illuminated by streetlights were truly breathtaking. I was constantly excited by the 'night-only highlights' that Hinata shared throughout the walk. I also really appreciated Hinata’s thoughtful hospitality—like timing our stroll perfectly to avoid the crowds. Thank you, Hinata, for such a wonderful night!

5.00Fantastic tour! 2 hours flew by. The guide was super knowledgeable and spoke great English. I loved the explanation about the Maiko vs. Geiko culture—it really cleared up my confusion! We even saw a few Maiko rushing to their appointments. Walking through the hidden backstreets away from the crowds was a total game changer. Highly recommend!
