A really nice nice way to see preferred places of interest in Bangkok and get some insights and context from a knowledgeable local guide. Okkay did a fantastic job putting our itinerary together, getting us from point to point via various methods of public transport and providing valuable information. Having a local.guide definitely adds to the experience - it makes the getting around an into attractions painless and provides a golden opportunity to "learn from a local". It was a good day out and comes well recommended!

Not necessary for the "main 3"... Our guide "Jean" met us early in the morning to try and beat the heat, however we didn't know the first stops we were going to wouldn't be open yet and would end up waiting outside for nearly 30 minutes before we could get in... Also, it didn't seem like we really had a choice of what to do, it was strongly suggested we just do the standard "main 3" attractions of Wan Aran, Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Grand Palace, which we had planned to do on our own as these are easily accessible, but this seemed to be the only option he could suggest. Overall, while he could lead us the best way through the sites/temples, there was not a lot of information provided that we could not have gotten on our own. If we had gone on our own, using Grab would have been cheaper and more convenient than taxi (and one of them didn't even have air conditioning, despite outside temperature above 40C). Overall, the day seemed very rushed and would have been more enjoyable to do at our own pace.
