Pre Rup
Today we visit the most interesting temples outside Angkor Thom city. Departing your hotel at 8.00 am, you begin with first stop at Pre Rup Hindu temple built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961 or early 962. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction.
Banteay Srei
Continue a drive for the intricately carved and well-preserved Banteay Srei. The detailed reliefs on this smaller sandstone structure are regarded as the finest, most skillfully crafted in Cambodia. Banteay Srei has only been accessible since the late 1990s, when the Khmer Rouge left the area. We end our touring at Angkor with lunch at the temple (own expense), and a short rest.

5.00Good small group tour. Saw all planned sights - Pre Rub, Neak Pean, Preah Khan, Banteay Srei and Bakheng temples. Unfortunately, cloud interfered with the sunset view, but still a nice view of Angkor Wat in the distance. Restaurant for lunch (not included) was very good. Our Guide, Sopheaprath, provided a lot of detailed information at the sights, though often prolonged explanations while we stood in the sun. Unfortunately, not much information provided on what you could see while driving along. Our driver, Mr Moa, always made cold water available while getting on and off the bus. Cold towels were very much appreciated when provided.

5.00Had a really nice tour with our very informative guide Mr. Sak and our very welcoming driver Mr. Black. Comfortable air-conditioned minibus, with cold water and fresh towels throughout the trip. Mr Sak is a photographer as well so he knew good spots for taking pictures. Fully recommend.
Temples are nice but guide only wants good reviews

2.00Temples were all really beautiful but unfortunately the overall experience was not that good due to an insisting guide Pal that insisted on getting 5-star reviews multiple times during the tour. He even wanted me to do the review in front of him before the end of the tour. And he sent a reminder via WhatsApp two days after the tour.

5.00Excellent tour! Mr. Pi is tremendously knowledgeable and was able to answer a variety of questions and keep the group engaged! The other team member (I can’t remember his name unfortunately) who assisted with transportation was also very kind and welcoming!

5.00Thank you Sak tour guide & Mr Black good safe driver. This is a must do tour in addition to Angkor wat. Sak was engaging and provided many good details & history, I learnt interesting details. Sak was also a great photographer took great pictures. Cannot miss these amazing temples. I highly recommend this tour.
