Your host, Leandra, a passionate Barbadian and sorbet maker, can’t wait to welcome you to her home. With her guidance, you’ll sample some of the island’s freshest local fruits, learn the stories behind them, and then roll up your sleeves to transform them into a delicious sorbet. But we’re not stopping there—you’ll also savor a curated selection of handcrafted fruit sorbets made by Cool Comfortz Frozen Delights bursting with Bajan flavors. Refreshing!
This isn’t just a class; it’s a fun, hands-on & immersive journey into the vibrant taste of Barbados! Beyond the flavors, this experience offers a rare chance to connect with a local, step into a real Bajan home, and gain insight into island life through fruit, stories, and warm hospitality.

5.00Leandra is truly exceptional. She brings such warmth, energy, and genuine enthusiasm to her craft that it makes the entire experience feel special from the moment you arrive. You can immediately tell how passionate she is, and that passion is incredibly contagious. She is not only deeply knowledgeable, but also a wonderful teacher. She explains everything in such an engaging, approachable way, making it easy to learn while still feeling inspired and excited. There’s a perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness that makes you feel completely comfortable, whether you’re experienced or trying something new for the first time. Every detail is thoughtfully done, and the experience feels both elevated and personal. And the sorbet is absolutely outstanding. It’s fresh, vibrant, and honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Being sent home with a pint for each person is such a generous and delightful touch that really completes the experience. Leandra has created something truly special. I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation.

5.00Leandra clearly knows her product. My experience was amazing because of her expertise! Her sorbet is delicious and should be in every restaurant and hotel on Barbados. It's local and made by a lovely professional lady!

5.00Leandra is exceptional! We had the best time learning about see native fruits of the island and had the chance to taste them all. Delicious! You have the opportunity to make your own sorbet and taste her sorbet creations as well. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her work and business. I would reccommend anyone to experience the magic of Cool Comfortz. Thank you so much again!

5.00I initially attempted to book the Sorbet making experience online but it was fully booked however, after contacting Leandra on Facebook and explaining that I was waiting for my friend to fly in, she kindly made availability for the date we needed. The price for the experience was $80USD and we had Leandra and her kitchen with just the 2 of us. Leandra made us feel very welcome from the start of the experience, giving us cool towels and drinks whilst she explained what would happen next. We got the opportunity to learn about the fruits and the culture and tasted all of the seasonal fruit which we then used to create a sorbet. Whilst waiting for the sorbet to be ready we played games and had a sorbet 'flight' test of some of the flavours Leandra prepares in her kitchen all whilst listening to soca music. The experience was nothing short of amazing and I would definitely recommend it.

5.00We just visited Barbados and this was our first activity... . if your looking for amazing real 100% local and unique exsperiance ..you found it !! ..Leandra is the best she is so friendly and the best host, we got to sample so many in seasonal fruits learned tons of local knowledge fun games and then fresh sorbet of her custom flavors she's perfected as well as one we made that day!! 😋 you need to reach out and book this exsperiance when you are visiting it's a MUST

5.00This was the best experience!! Leandra was great and fun and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and got to taste so many new-to-us fruits. Each part of the experience was very interesting and Leandra was very engaging. Her passion was clear, which just added even more to the experience. I can't recommend this enough! This was one of the best and yummiest experiences we've ever had on a vacation.

5.00Loved this experience. My only wish is that I had done this the first day in Barbados so I could have enjoyed my sorbet for longer. Getting able to taste so many different local fruits was incredible. Leandra was so welcoming and so knowledgable. Highly recommend. Getting to take home a pint of sorbet that I had made was just incredible and made me think about the entire experience the rest of the trip.

5.00If you want something to do that’s not only hands on, fun, educational and “ tasty” definitely try this activity. We learned about the various Barbados fruits. Made home made fruit sorbets and played a game with the host !! You will definitely get your moneys worth with the tasty treat ☺️
