  The Bari Street Food Walking Tour was just a delight. Lorena, our guide, was full of energy and information. She led us on an adventure through the narrow streets. At our first stop we were treated to delicious light and airy focaccia (don't call it pizza!) with a wonderful tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella. Next, we sampled Panzerotto, a deep fried thin pastry filled with fresh tomato sauce and cheese. It was accompanied by beer or wine. On our next stop, we sampled the local orecchiette pasta in a salad with fresh tomatoes, arugala, and a hard type of ricotta. It was amazing! Lorena provided lots of inside information about the city, where to eat, and where to buy various products. She was funny and engaging and a perfect host for the tour. Last stop on a very hot day--gelato! Ice cold, rich and creamy. A perfect end to the tour.

  Lorena was a fantastic guide, showing us the fav spots around Bari and giving us all the knowledge of history. We tried 4 different foods and 1 drink on the tour and were so full! I loved seeing all the tiny little streets of the old town, and how friendly the locals were 🩷

  The guide Lorena was delightful. She was both knowledgeable and exuberant! The tour was the perfect length of time and had 4 stops to eat. My only input would be to allow people to pick the food you wanted off the menus at the stops we were taken to, instead of the predetermined selections. It would be worth the additional charge that would obviously be required.

  A good tour to get a feel for the old area of Bari. We thought there was too much carbs (bread & pasta) and the portion sizes were large. That said, we don’t eat big meals anyway and we were completely stuffed at the end - just enough room for the closing gelato! It didn’t help that it was a super hot day but that is no one’s fault but it does diminish appetites. Our guide - Lorena - was lovely and enthusiastic.

  A great food tour with that extra personal touch. Great service and really fun, easy and warm guide. Really recommend!
