We at Sugar City Trains realized the need to bridge the gap between the history of St. Kitts, specifically our main city, Basseterre, and persons, both visitors, and locals alike. We thought the way to do this best was by a guided tour on our trackless train (road train), the Sugar City Train.

Brilliant trip around the town. Entertaining and cheerful guide Lee did a great job. Would rally recommend this tour while here in St Kitts.

We arrived from the cruise terminal and had no excursion booked. We found the St Kitts historic museum and we were offered tickets on the Sugar City train. It was a really good experience and a nice way to see Basseterre. We were told the history of the city and facts about St Kitts. The staff are amazing too! We are really glad we chose to take the train ride.

We arrived on the Carnival Magic in January and we had not booked a shore excursion. So we were just meandering through the markets. We got past all the pushy tour folks and seen the Sugar train. We spoke to a polite young lady about how it works and we went into the museum and paid. It was one of the best tours I have ever been on. It was very focused on the culture, history, and was shown fruits with amazing properties. Our guide was a former police officer there and was an excellent guide. I would recommend this to anybody. Also your ticket gets you into the museum for free after the tour. I can't say enough about this tour. The people are beyond welcoming and friendly.
