Tortuga Bay Beach
After the 50-minute walk to reach Tortuga Bay, we will be greeted by two different faces of this stunning white sand beach. First, we will pass by "Playa Brava", a paradise for surfers. Then, we will head towards a tranquil pool where we can observe large marine iguanas up close as they bask in the sun. We will continue our journey towards a lookout point that offers spectacular views of the coast, before reaching the other side of Tortuga Bay, where a marvellous beach with very calm water offers the perfect place for our snorkel activity. We will also explore a trail that will lead us to sightings of different endemic bird species. After this exploration walk, you will have the opportunity to snorkel from the beach, in very calm water and along the beautiful mangroves, to some hidden spots with many sea turltes, schools of rays and little baby reef sharks that your local underwater specialist will lead you to. For the way back, we comfortably embark on a speedboat to Puerto Ayora.

5.00Our snorkeling tour in the Galápagos, led by our incredible guide Yaz, was amazing! From start to finish, Yaz made sure our experience was safe, fun, and full of unforgettable moments. Yaz’s deep knowledge of the islands and marine life added so much value to the tour. He pointed out hidden wonders we would have missed on our own and shared fascinating facts about the unique ecosystem. His passion for conservation and respect for nature was inspiring and made us appreciate the Galápagos even more. The snorkeling itself was breathtaking! Yaz ensured everyone felt comfortable, no matter their skill level, and his enthusiasm was contagious. It was the highlight of our trip, and we can’t recommend it enough!

5.00Yaz was amazing! His knowledge of the flora and fauna is unmatched. He is very friendly and welcoming. His stories are very interesting and tells the history of the islands while you are on them, giving context to what you are seeing. He is able to answer many questions and has a very bright smile. You can tell that he loves sharing his island with visitors. I would 100% reccomend a tour here as Yazmany is a terrific guide and was my personal favourite from the tours i did!

5.00We were on a cruise for 4 days and Jaz was pur guide for the time. It was Incredible nice. His knowledge about the island is huge! Every question has been answered. Also his snorkeling skills are incredible. We saw practicly everything we could wish for regarding marine life. I can highly recommend Jaz as a guide. Best holidays in my entire life! Thanks for everything!

5.00It was certainly a wonderful trip and we brought back many memories, in photos and videos. During the preparation of the script, Stephanie was very attentive and made several suggestions. When we arrived in Galapagos, we were very well received and guided by Daniel and Omar. They are very receptive, organized and helpful. The agency has an excellent team to serve tourists. As for the tours, they were all wonderful. We loved getting to know a little about marine life and the snorkeling activities were certainly enough for that. Isabela Island has many interesting options. It was great that we stayed there for a few days. We would definitely recommend Guiding!

5.00This was an awesome experience. It begins with a walk to the beach where you pass dozens of marine iguanas lazily sprawled on the beach getting some sun. You get a little explanation about these animals, and about the sand, and you also get to see some sea turtle nests. You can’t swim here because of rough seas and strong current, but the beach is amazingly beautiful: partly because of the color of the water and sand, but partly because of absence of beach houses, lifeguard towers or beach umbrellas. You then pass to a cove where the waters are incredibly calm. This is where you get to snorkel. Our guide Jose (a.k.a. Pepe) made my dream come true here: he found for me a sea turtle that was just hanging around on the bottom of the bay maybe 4 feet below the surface. I also got to see a few different kinds of fish. Pepe saw a shark about 5 feet in length but by the time I got there it had swum away— you may be more lucky than me. Overall, this was an A+ experience. Guiding Galapagos prove all the equipment you might need and give you some good tips to increase the chances of an enjoyable experience. You won’t be disappointed. Worth every penny.
