This war island kayak tour takes place around Great War Island, a nature protected area in the center of Belgrade. The contrast of wilderness and urban ambiance makes this adventure a special one and embeds it deep in the memory. The tour around Great War island is organized for private groups and includes a brief on Lido Beach, a visit to Veliki Galijas canal, as well as rowing and spending time on the Danube and Sava rivers. Aleksandar is super friendly and explains very well for beginners. The tour lasts 2h30 and we go on the Danube and the Sava. We take a little break on a beach at some point. It is suitable for all levels. Really a great experience.

The kayak tour in Belgrade was a great experience. I was really impressed by the guides – they gave clear explanations and made sure we felt safe and confident on the water. I’ve done several kayak tours before, but this was the first time where everything was explained so thoroughly. I felt very well taken care of and really enjoyed it. Definitely something I would do again and highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience on this kayak tour! Our instructor spent a lot of time patiently teaching us the correct paddling techniques. Even though we weren’t very skilled at first, he guided us the whole way and made sure we completed the journey together. He explained every detail on how to handle the kayak, and his patience and encouragement made the experience truly enjoyable. 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Belgrade!

We really recommend this tour! We really had a great time during the whole trip. You get to know a lot about the surroundings of the War island and get to see the city and the fortress from a different perspective - by kayak! Even though it was raining the whole time, we sure enjoyed it and our great instructor Milos made sure we felt comfortable during the tour. It's also very beginner friendly! We will keep this tour as a great memory of Belgrad! :)

We had a brilliant time with this experience, mainly thanks to the instructor. We were concerned at the start that we weren't able to do it properly, but thanks to his motivation and tips, we powered through and it ended up being an absolutely beautiful experience. Calm waters and nature, it was very serene. We also enjoyed the little break on the island itself! Would highly recommend.

Such a wonderful thing to do in Belgrade. The tour was excellent, fun, and guided so perfectly. The equipment was in perfect shape too. It went so fast, I could go all day. Thank you for such a great experience.

A really nice experience, whether for a big group, a couple, or solo. You will always have the support of an experienced guide. It's worth enjoying the sunset from the kayak.

The trip was so much fun. And the sunset was just stunning. So sad to see there are trash in the rivers. Maybe can start a voluntary clean up event, or give everyone a bag to collect some trash on the way. Be sure to cover yourself well because the mosquitoes were really hungry!
