On our way to the city, I will give you a lot of information about Athens history, mythology and culture.
This tour is very flexible...! I can adjust the schedule, duration and activities to meet your needs. Please let me know of any special requests you have.

For 1-4 passengers the tour will be provided with a Mercedes Benz Eclass. For 5-8 travellers the tour will be provided with a Mercedes Benz Minivan.For 9-20 passengers the tour will be provided with a Mercedes Benz Sprinter.
We can pick our customers up from wherever they want inside the region of Athens.
If the pick up is from the Airport or from the cruise dock please provide all the details to the operator after from the pickup.
If there is a Strike in The city Center or a special event that effects the tour,the tour may change start time or ITINERARY under the instructions of the operator and the agreement of the customer
Please provide as much as possible contact details to the operator even after the booking
If the booking will start from Ath Int Airport the time of the tour start to count fro the pickup of the customer,so do not stress your self in cases of Delay of flights.
If the tour is combined with a transfer the Maximum Luggage ( american size 32kl) can be no more than 3 and the start time of the tour starts at the time of the first pickup eg :( There is a customer that buys a tour starting from Cruise terminal but first he/she wants to be transferred to his Hotel to do the check in and then to start the tour. ) if the customer wants extra services than the ones that paid for,the operator will charge him extra and the payment will be done to the driver in cash or credit card.

The Monastery of Daphni
The Daphni Monastery was founded towards the end of the sixth century A.D. on the site of the Sanctuary of Apollo which had been desecrated by the Goths in 395. The Sanctuary of Apollo was built in the Ionic style using the thinnest and smallest columns. The columns stand on a base with an ornamental scroll at the top. A few of the columns of the temple have been preserved. One of the four Ionic columns of the ancient Sanctuary of Apollo remains at the site, as it was re-used in the Daphni Monastery. The other columns were removed and taken to London by Thomas Bruce, Earl of Elgin (of Elgin Marbles fame). The columns, column bass, and column tops from the Sanctuary of Apollo are currently in the possession of the British Museum.

4.00Our tour guide, Giorgio, was knowledgeable and fearless driving in Athens, which is needed because of the narrow streets. However, he was a little hard of hearing so a few times we asked questions or requested something and he simply smiled and nodded or laughed and we either had to repeat the question/request or give up. Also, it was a nice Mercedes but had no charging ports. We both ran out of our batteries and our backup batteries and had no way of charging. We had cords with us - nowhere to plug in. Further, the tour indicated there would be a lunch or dinner provided along with snacks. We did not receive a meal or even a mention of one. We realized this after we went back and saw the described tour later that night. We were offered no snacks. We were given 2 bottles of water after we indicated we were thirsty. Overall, we learned about Athens and got the feel for the historic sites driving around. But it's really not good to tour the Acropolis without a tour guide on site, and the driver is unable to partk and accompany us. Further, we didn't realize we weren't going to the museum at all. We would have gone on our own earlier in the day.

5.00Perfect! Did a lot of research and picked this excursion by description and feel. Felt good from the start, Theodores answered all e-mails quickly and completely understood what I was looking for. Great communication throughout and gave me peace of mind. After a series of not so great excursions on our Viking cruise, needed to end it on a great one. It was!! From the moment we met our driver and guide Stam, I knew it was going to be a fun one. He picked us up right on time and it was like being picked up by a friend. He understood what we wanted to do and he made it happen and more! His guide style and knowledge of history and the city, again it was just like driving around with your friend having a conversation. Not like those tours that give you too much information about nothing where you just tune them out. What an excellent driver, his navigation of the traffic, streets and parking, he had a lot more patience than I would have had, and made it look easy and us comfortable. He got us close to everything, great parking spots and gave us the time to explore and see what we wanted to see, and we saw more than I expected. We finished with a great relaxing meal at their restaurant, a few beers, again exceeded my expectations. I could go on and on, we travel and do a lot. It was a great and best way to finish this 10 day adventure. It just flowed and went too fast, could have just kept going with him. When he dropped us off we hugged, we'll miss him and keep in touch. THANK YOU Stam and Theodores travel. We would do it again. First class. Perfect!
