Discover the best of the Troodos Mountains and traditional villages on this small-group journey through nature, history, and local culture.

Our first stop is the picturesque village of Laneia, where flower-lined streets and stone houses reveal the island’s charm. Continue to Troodos Square, surrounded by pine forests — enjoy a coffee and browse stalls with local products.

Next, visit the magnificent Kykkos Monastery, founded in the 11th century and famed for its gold decoration and the holy icon of the Virgin Mary. Nearby, admire breathtaking views from Throni tis Panagias, the resting place of Archbishop Makarios III.

Enjoy lunch at a traditional mountain restaurant, taste local wines at a family winery, and end the day in Omodos Village — visit its monastery, try local sweets, and stroll through its pretty stone streets with small craft shops.

Our first stop will be at the picturesque Village of Laneia; a walk through the beautiful flower lined streets and stone houses. We will see the Old Wine press of the village, as well as the Olive Mill.

Next stop will be in Troodos Mountains Square, in the surroundings of the pinewoods, you may enjoy a coffee break and wander around the Stalls selling traditional products.

Chris, our guide and driver, shared interesting and useful insights about Cyprus history and local places to visit in a clear and engaging way, with a good sense of humour. Safe and confident driver.The music during the drive was a nice touch. We visited beautiful monasteries and churches, enjoyed incredible views of the Troodos Mountains, fascinating historical sites and a lovely wine tasting. Hotel pickup and return were right on time.

The trip was very good and well informed, however I think the lunch would have been better at the last village stop.it was really busy at the restaurant with long ques for the buffet.

Guide (Chris) provided interesting and useful information, related to Cyprus history and local things to do/visit, in an understandable manner, funny at times. Nice music during riding.

Beautiful natural landscape and charming villages with a helpful and very informative guide, who drove very carefully for a travel sick passenger. Tour was exceptional, only let down by the lunch stop. Restaurant food could have been much better. Although staff were friendly and helpful.

My experience on this tour was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!. Chris was very entertaining, warm and engaging , patient, knowledgeable and friendly. His choice of music and driving on the bus was also superb. UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL monasteries and churches! Historic, quality towns, fabulous winery, delicious lunch. After this tour the only other place to go is heaven.
A very enjoyable day in the Troodos mountains.

A very full day with lots of great places included in the tour. Chris, our driver and guide, was very informative. The highlight was the amazing church at the Kykkos Monastery.

A tour geared towards buying toerist stuff, and not about seeing the villages and sites. You do visit Kykkos monastery, famous, but all buildings are relatively new and not that interesting, unless you are a pelgrim coming for the Mary icon. You do not get to visit one of the painted churches of the region.
Memorable. Tour & timeline maintained on schedule with efficient duration. Will continue to recommend to others.

The Troodos mountain trip was well planned and easy to follow within the given time frame. Our driver and guide, Chris, handled the winding roads confidently and shared a good general overview of Cyprus—its history, vegetation, wildlife, and the background of the monuments we visited. He didn’t go into very detailed explanations, but he was witty, engaging, and kept the group entertained. The only drawback was the winery stop. There was no tour of the facility—just a table for tastings—and the wines didn’t appeal to most of us. The organizers should reconsider this part of the itinerary. Lunch was on the expensive side, but the food was tasty, and sitting together as a group made it enjoyable. We had great conversations and got to know people from different countries and cultures. Overall, a pleasant and well-organized trip with a fun guide, though the winery experience could be improved.
