Bai Biển Vung Tau
Vung Tau has four known beaches—Front Beach, Back Beach, Pineapple Beach, and Paradise Beach. Front Beach (Bãi Trước) is the most popular, which for many others is enough reason to stay away. In addition to the crowds, the water is rather polluted and doesn’t offer the best beach setup. However, you can still enjoy some fresh seafood at the many stalls and restaurants that have set up shop—they serve some of the most delicious seafood in the south of Vietnam. For a better beach experience, head to any of the other three. Back Beach (Bãi Sau) is much less dirty, and perfect for surfing. As the beach gets some wonderful wind swells, kitesurfing shops have appeared over the years, offering rentals and classes for all levels.
Jesus Christ Statue
Statue of Christ the King is an unforgettable Vung Tau day tours. You can see the statue of Christ the King, one of the important symbols of Vung Tau, from all directions in the city. But the best is still climbing to the top of Little Mountain and admire the statue. Then, climb the observatory in the statue and watch the panorama of the city and the surrounding sea The statue of Christ the King was built in the early 1970 s but not until more than 20 years after its completion. The arms are 18 m wide, 32 m high, two meters higher than the Redemptories statue in Rio de Janeiro.

Cannot rate this company or our guide Anthony, highly enough. From pre meeting communication to meet and greet at the port gate, everything went like clock work. Especially the information about proper attire for various sites. As for Anthony (Tony), our guide for the day...just exceptional!! As was our driver. Lunch was delicious and so was the coconut ice cream, you must try it😋 Really not much more to say, except to say ...book this tour😁 We had previously been to Phu My port and Ho Chi Mihn City. We wanted to try another area and chose Vung Tau. I would highly rate this tour, and area, over HCM City.

An absolutely amazing experience! Our tour guide, Jason, not only showed us the sights of Vung Tau, but also gave us a bit of Vietnam history. We had a private tour (just the 2 of us), and were able to adjust as needed. Would definitely recommend!!!

Absolutely amazing experience; wonderful overview of Vung Tau. Jason went above and beyond not only taking us to amazing places, but also giving us history of Vietnam.

We had a great day with our guide Castle! His English is excellent, he knows an incredible amount to tell and even introduced us to the Vietnamese language. Our first stop was a religious community center where we were warmly welcomed by the locals - even our 6-year-old daughter liked it there very much. The second stop was a shrine with whale bones - also very exciting. A highlight was the subsequent meal! We were the only Europeans in the crowded restaurant and felt like we were really in the middle of everyday Vietnamese life. And it tasted so delicious!! Castle has adapted the further stops to our needs - we wanted to spend more time on the beach and in the cafe than climbing up to the statue of Jesus. Since there was a driver of our own with us, getting out and in was always very easy, the driver just let us out and only then looked for a parking space. We were also very enthusiastic about the museum of Vung Tau, which is largely dedicated to the Vietnam War. All in all a great day, we would repeat anytime!

Definitely worth the visit. Castle is absolutely the best guide - very knowledgeable and dedicated to Vietnamese culture and history. We learned so much! He also was very patient and took great care of us. Would recommend this tour and especially Castle and our driver. Booking was easy and follow up communication excellent! They knew where our ship was docked when we didn’t and made suggestions accordingly.

Tour description never mentioned about wearing long pants. When we got there (Jesus statue & White Palace), tour guide told us that we can't get in because we wore shorts. Only we did was to look at Jesus statue from entrance gate and just drove by white palace. Traffic was so bad which took almost 7 hours around trip between port and Vung Tau city. It was hot day but never been offered any cold water. Lunch was offered but no real choice.

Castle provided a very good tour visiting a community house which helps the local community and people in need. The people there were lovely and we're very happy to show us around their community house. We then headed to the Jesus statue where Castle walked with me to the top (835 steps). He wanted to make sure that I was going to be OK and showed a genuine interest. Then off to lunch at a local restaurant where Castle selected local meals which were very enjoyable. Lastly we visited the local museum which show cased the culture from olden days, the war archaeology. Unfortunately we ran out of time as we could have spent more time at the museum. Castle is very knowledgeable and is very passionate. He also speaks very good English.
