Hop-on Hop-off tour ticket is valid for use during operating hours for 24 or 48 hours after first use.

Two ways to activate tickets: 1. Download and open the Big Bus app. Tap "Add Booking" and enter your booking reference. On the day of travel, open your ticket and press "Activate" then show your activated ticket to the driver at any stop along the route. Plus, use the app for route information and live bus tracking. 2. Redeem voucher and activate with Big Bus staff at Stop #1 - Big Bus Tours Visitors Center at 99 Jefferson St (corner of Jefferson and Mason Streets, or with any driver at any stop along the route.

1.00Never got to experience anything the bus never came. Waited 2hrs with my family and baby for the bus to never show up. Now I want a full refund this ruined my family’s vacation.

5.00Great way to see the city areas. Bonus was driving across the Golen Gate bridge. Since busses were uncrowned, easily able to get on at various stops.

4.00This is an ok hop on hop off. I’m usually a big fan of hop on hop off tours especially the big bus operated ones. But the SF one was a little disappointing in the sense that most of the stops are not at the location so on a slightly wet day you have to walk a bit. It also means that majority of the spots like Lombard street and Chinatown or some of the nice row houses do not feature on the route so you can’t breeze through it like many other hop on hop off cities. All in all I think the tour is average but again if you want to see San Fran down town are and get it covered within a day then it’s a good option. I would say that please reschedule if the weather is wet or cold. They are flexible about that and I’d highly recommend doing it on a day that it is nice and warm.

4.00The drivers were very nice and the tour was informative. However we did have some areas of concern. The buses did not run every 15 minutes. At one point we waited 25-30 minutes on a chilly and windy day. Some type of sign at the bus stops would help or at least a list with addresses in the brochure. It is very difficult in unfamiliar surroundings to remember the exact spot. Also, a member of our group wears hearing aids, and there was no adaptation available to enable use of them for the audio tour. Trying to listen through hearing aids over the noise of the bus usually does not work for someone with hearing loss. Many modern hearing aids can connect via Bluetooth with phones. This would be one way to accommodate those with hearing loss.

5.00It is very cold on the top of the bus. There were 14 of us. We got off three times and had no problem getting all of us on the same bus. Our longest wait time was 7 minutes.

5.00Had the best day thanks to Blake. He told us about things I never even thought of. The Fairmont hotel to see the giant Giant gingerbread house, the light show at the church, Bobs doughnuts, pets in Macy’s window. Just the best. Thank you Blake!
