Dolphin Encounters

On this day, the only item on your to-do list is ‘relax and have fun.’ Sprawl out onto the velvety sand and work hard on that tan, or snooze on a double hammock under the breezy shade of coconut palm trees. Swim in the hidden turquoise lagoon, or float lazily on an inner tube, which you can pick up from the island’s main facility, along with noodles and unsinkable mats. Perhaps you’d like to take on more water adventures — rent a kayak, water bike or snorkeling gear, or check out the coral reefs teeming with brightly colored fish on a snorkeling tour (own expense).

Super fun day! We were staying on island so we arrived before any of the cruise ship visitors which was great for getting beach chairs and seeing the animals. We didn’t do any of the animal encounters so it was a bit pricey for a beach day but the boat ride was a great way to experience the islands from the water and the food was good. The facilities were great.

This excursion does not begin at 10am!!! You have to meet at 7:30 AM. We were on a cruise ship and we didn't arrive to port until after eight, so we missed the excursion. I think your wording was very confusing. This is not the first time I've been disappointed with a Viator excursion. May not ever use Viator again.

We went on an excursion via our cruise. Ferry ride was fun there and back. There are some decent spots to sit around the lagoon area, however, they said reserved… but didn’t really appear to be? One beach was blocked off due to a sand pile from construction. The actual ocean beaches were all closed apparently due to safety reasons but there was no wind that day. Perhaps riptides, but the lack of beach chairs at the ocean beach tells me they just aren’t being used which is sad because that’s where I wanted to go. I was also under the impression that adults could visit the adult area—nope, separate ticket. Couldn’t even go check it out. The lunch wasn’t great but at least it was included and the seating area was nice. Nice for families with small children but if it are seeking a day at the ocean, go somewhere else.
Scammers if you’d pay that one price, be sure you know that you’re only going there to swim in the water and not see any

Seems like a wonderful deal until you get there. They offer every animal experience under the sun all for a huge cost. They don’t want you walking around because they don’t want you to see the animals. They are trying to make as much money as possible. We tried to explore the island, but half of it was closed and they didn’t let you go near the ocean. They kept you in the bay. It was quite annoying.

We did a beach day ONLY experience and had a great day. We snorkeled and saw an octopus, we did the Aqua which was so much fun and the food was good with something for everyone.

Bryant was AMAZING. Truly deserves all the praise. He made our experience entertaining and reassured us of our worries. We swam with Dilly the dolphin and had the best time. Truly could not imagine a better ending to our honeymoon cruise. Thank you Bryant, keep being amazing! The lagoon itself is clean and spacious. Truly something to do for everyone. It was not overcrowded and the weather was perfect. Even the 30 minute boat ride to the lagoon was a party. We will definitely be back!

We booked this event as our big event to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday. Trip Advisor advertises the Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day as running from 10am to 4pm. We arrived at 9:30 to be informed that the boat leaves at 8:00 am and returns at 1pm. They were unable to accommodate us because it is a private Island with a private charter boat that does not allow other boats to dock, so we missed the event. Blue Lagoon staff seemed genuinely sorry for us and did try and see if there was anything they could do. We could not return the next day because our flights were that day. Loretta advised us that Trip Advisor has Pre-COVID information. DO not book this experience via Trip Advisor, but direct.

The time for the ferry departure that’s provided by trip advisor is wrong. The boat leaves at 8. Not 10. And takes you back at 1. Not 4. We missed the only boat and didn’t get to go. Do not trust the out dated trip advisor information!!!

We had a great time with Bryant and the dolphins Zoey and Coral! Bryant was so funny and great with my daughters (7 and 9 yrs). He made us laugh and made the experience extremely memorable! He obviously loves his job and cares for the dolphins. Thank you Bryant for helping us make unforgettable memories that we’ll always cherish!

OMG, the best dolphin swim with the best guide, Bryant. It was so much fun and so so funny. It is clear he loves the dolphins and his job.
