Just seeing and travelling through the landscape at any time of year is an unforgettable experience. Take a day trip that brings you close to some of Iceland's most beautiful natural sites. You'll begin with a visit to the National Park Þingvellir.
The next stop is at Friðheimar eco-area, where you will learn about growing organic vegetables using geothermal heat and grab a lunch.
After that, you will head to the geothermal area Geysir. After Geysir, you will continue to the colossal waterfall Gullfoss, which many consider the most beautiful waterfall in Iceland. Formed by the river Hvítá, the waterfall is 32 meters (105 feet) high across two cascading tiers.
Finally, you will visit a volcanic crater lake called Kerið. The crater was formed about 6500 years ago and lies at the northern end of a row of craters known as Tjarnarhólar.
And the last stop it will be at Blue lagoon, place which is not to be missed while you are in Iceland. The mineral salts balance and relax body and soul.

Thingvellir
You’ll begin with a visit to Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. It was here in 930 AD that the Vikings established the world’s first parliament, Alþingi. Thingvellir is also the area where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet. Thingvellir also caught the eyes of the creators of the HBO series, ‘Game of Thrones,’ using it to represent ‘The Eyrie’ and ‘The Bloody Gate.’
Fridheimar
The next stop is at Fridheimar eco-area. Here you will learn about growing organic vegetables using geothermal heat and then be served a very delicious lunch in the greenhouse restaurant.

5.00When we first heard 11 hours we were very skeptical and wasn't sure we wanted to be in a car that long. It was worth every minute and every penny! Orn was our guide and an absolute delight. We saw all the sights and were amazed at how vast and different each part of the island. The Blue Lagoon was our highlight! Doing the premium package is the only way to go. Make sure you bring your camera with a waterproof cover to the Blue Lagoon. Don't forget to stop at the Tomato restaurant. Of course only if you like tomatoes!
Blue Lagoon Premium was well worth the money!

5.00Our driver and guide Orn was an absolute delight! When we heard it was an 11 hour day we were a little skeptical, but well worth every minute. He was an excellent driver and very proud of his country.
