This is a long day but it wizzed past so quickly. We were collected at 10:00 in a nice comfy mini bus. After collecting a few other people we headed out of the city to start the tour. 1st we had a very brief detour to see some wild kangaroos. Then onwards to a small town for a toilet break and to grab a coffee and some snacks around 11:40. At 12:00 we left and on to the mountains, 15 minutes later we arrived at the 1st stop for our 1st views over the valley and 1st photo opportunity. After 20 mins we got back onto the bus for a short 10 min drive and the highlight started. We walked for around 2 hours the forest stopping at various waterfalls and viewing stops - the views are jawdroppping! 2 hours sounds a long time but it was a nice pace, plenty of breaks for the views and photos. The final waterfall is down a lot of very steep steps. Greg the guide does warn you of this and gives an opportunity to wait if you wish, but there are handrails all the way down so unless you have bad mobility or balance issues it shouldn’t be that challenging. The climb up can be tiring but there is no rush and just take your time. After this last waterfall there’s a gentle 20 min walk back to the bus. We then drove to another waterfall and a quick stop at Wolf head rock maybe 20 mins away. Then the last stop was to see the 3 sisters. They try and time this for sunset, but our day was overcast so no sunset was visible. Lastly we drove maybe 10 mins to a local RSL for some dinner. This costs around $20-25 per person, but the food was really good, big portions and huge variety on offer. After dinner we headed the 1:40hr home being dropped off close to our hotel around 8:15pm. Amazing tour, we saw so much. Greg the guide was great, gave us information without being overbearing, funny and lead a great pace. Honestly one of the best tours I’ve ever done - and we’ve done a lot

Very enjoyable day out. We had two guides -Buck and Joe- which I understand is unusual. They were both knowledgeable and great fun! After taking a detour to look for wild kangaroos, where we were able to take photos, our first stop was at Grenbrook where we were advised to buy our food for the day. I was a little concerned because at first it looked as though the food choices were all bread or pastry, which looked delicious however I avoid gluten. Luckily the greengrocer has the most amazing salad choices and I also found suitable snacks in the supermarket. I mention this in case future visitors want to consider bringing their own food if they follow a special diet. The next stop was for a walk to the waterfall. This is a stunning walk, down numerous steps with breathtaking views. We had the choice whether to continue on a bit further on our own or head back up and enjoy some free time. The second walk was optional, again with amazing views and lots of lookout points. I would say it was easier than the first walk. We had some great views of the Three Sisters. Final stop was to watch the sunset over the mountains. Again, really beautiful I definitely recommend this trip as a way to explore the Blue Mountains and see wild kangaroos in an ethical way.

Overall, this is a nice and relaxing trip to the Blue Mountains that I'd generally recommend. I liked the fact that we started at 10am (so you don't have an early morning start as it usually happens with such activities) and that we were a small group, something that made it easy to meet and talk to others. Additionally, I enjoyed our time in all three spots (Glenbrook, Wentworth Falls and Three Sisters/Katoomba) as well as the information provided by our tour guide/driver throughout the trip. Be mindful that hiking in the Wentworth Falls can be a bit slippery at times, so ensure that you have appropriate shoes. Finally, keep in mind that the guide doesn't go down/at the bottom of the falls with you (at least not always), but rather, he stops at some point the group hike and then gives you instructions as to how to reach to the bottom. These instructions were not particularly clear/easy to memorise, especially for one who does this trip for the first time. So, I'd recommend that you ask for more specific advice/guidance when you are at that point, or, you stick with others who have clearly understood how to reach to the bottom of the waterfalls (provided that you want to go there).

The view on the mountains at different places was fantastic, and the waterfall was gorgeous. Our guide did a great job sharing information about the locations and history in a laid back way. Further, information was well communicated in advance.

This would have been a fantastic tour except our guide didn’t stop talking and sang nearly the entire journey. I do not recommend if you’re not one for endless commentary.
