This is a guided tour where we visit different sights between Stavanger and into the Lysefjord. Such as. Fantahåla, Jettegryta, Prekestolen, Goats, Henganefossen etc.

Ref wikipedia: Preikestolen or Prekestolen (English: "The Pulpit Rock", "Pulpit" or "Preacher’s Chair") is a tourist attraction in the municipality of Forsand in Rogaland county, Norway. Preikestolen is a steep cliff which rises 604 metres (1,982 ft) above the Lysefjorden. Atop the cliff, there is an almost flat top of approximately 25 by 25 metres (82 ft × 82 ft). Preikestolen is located near the Western part of the fjord, and on its North side.

Captain Chris was a wonderful captain! The boat was beautiful and very well maintained. The tour had such incredible views. The trip lasted about four hours and allowed ample time to see pulpit rock, the goats, hot pot, and so much more. We were served a delicious lunch buffet with champagne. We highly recommend Chris and his company. Thank you all for a fantastic trip.

My family, friends and I visited Stavenger, Norway on 5/30/2024 while on a cruise. We booked a private yacht with Lysetur, AS (Yacht Name, Xenon). When I say it was OVER THE TOP…Whew! Captain Nylund was awesome! Very hospitable gentleman. We did a 4 hour ride out to Pulpit Rock, checking out Vagabond Cave on the way. It was a relaxing way to spend in our last port before heading back to the UK. We ordered Tapas which was some of the best food we had all week. The views were amazing. The 72 foot yacht holds up to 12 people. It is well kept and beautiful. If in Stavenger and want a special day, I highly recommend to splurge to and spend a day on the Xenon. You won’t be disappointed!

Captain Krister gave us a beautiful cruise. We were lucky to have a spectacularly clear sunny day. The yacht is beautiful and well maintained. The food spread was amazing and plentiful. Krister hired an english speaking guide, although he speaks a fair amount of english, that provided information on Norway and Stavenger. This was the highlight of our trip to Norway and highly recommend it.

If you're on a cruise to Stavanger, book a boat trip to Pulpit Rock and the stunning waterfall. Book when you get there as its so much cheaper than on ship.
