  Wonderful boat trip on the water to view the caves and Polignano a Mare. Boat driver & partner were very friendly and included everyone, small group of 7 was perfect as not too crowded. Had the option to swim but water still too cold for us! Was something different to experience & get a different view of the shoreline. Was good fun!

• Boat cruise into a few caves at Poglinano A Mere

  A very basic boat ride along the coast from Monopoli to Poglinano caves. The view of the coastline at Poglinano is beautiful but you do cruise past an industrialised area in Monopoli. We visited three caves each with a little commentary. We were offered Prosecco, water and a packet snack and was asked if we wanted to go swimming. The view of the coastline at Poglinano is very beautiful. Communication was very good in respect of locating embarkation area as the linked map was incorrect. Little to no conversation from the cruise operators. Nice little boat.

  Wonderful host very knowledgeable, we were 8 people, we had prosecco and a snack which was perfect, stopped for a swim in the Adriatic. Very reasonable price. Definitely take this tour.

  “Just going through the motions”. The nicest thing I can say is that the boat was beautiful and there were only four passengers. The crew seemed board and disinterested. They asked us basically no questions. They didn’t ask where we were from, they didn’t ask us if we wanted to listen to their music, they didn’t give us background on the cities, the gentleman of the crew basically did not speak to us at all, they pointed out a few things about the cave…and that was it. They were much more interested talking to each other and ignoring us. I think they are in the wrong business. They treat tourists as a necessary evil and a paycheck. Both me and the other male passenger tipped the crew. We did this basically out of habit and then after talking to our wives, we regretted providing tips because the crew did absolutely nothing to deserve any tips. We have travelled extensively and generally have excellent tours and experiences. This excursion was lousy.

  Great tour of the Polignano Caves, with the added bonus of a glass of Prosecco and the chance to swim. Crew were friendly and knowledgeable.
