5.00Easy to find meeting point gave myself time because of unpredictable Bombay traffic. Our guide Vrushali is very knowledgeable about the history of places where we stopped and the food we was tasting. Easy pace with short local train ride after first stop. I’ve been coming to India a long time yet the was a couple of dishes I hadn’t tried. Would def recommend the trip the only downside took me nearly 2 hrs to get back to hotel after. The main road after market where last stop was absolute chaos cancelled 2 Ubers end up getting cool cab further down road. Overall recommend the tour for sure prepare for Bombay traffic choas after

5.00Our tour guide Vrushali did an excellent job. She showed us some of the amazing spots for food tasting. She did a wonderful job describing the food as well as the history behind the food. Many of the shop have historical background The food that we rasted as amazing and I would recommend anyone and everyone to take this tour. You will not be disappointed excellent,excellent,excellent, I tried food that I wouldn’t have experienced Thank you for this tour

5.00From the beautiful historical stories regarding the food, which was given by our lovely guide Vrushali to the amazing taste of sweet curds, Irani Chai tea & bun maska, Puri, Sev Puri. Pani Puri, eggplant curry & bread cheeze pudla. The best you could ask for on a food tour! Along with a true Indian street lesson in walking and driving. Loved everything about the tour.
Hard not to love the city more and more after each tour.

5.00Our lovely guide Pooja introduces us to the diversity of the Maharashtra kitchen and poetically compares it to the city in which she was born and raised and still obviously love today. With A Chefs Tour and Pooja in particular I have had some wonderful culinary adventures every time I visit the buzzling city of Mumbai.

5.00This was so much fun. Great food in all kinds of places, seen a lot of (part of) the city. Lovely people who like to tell about what they make. Beautiful background stories by the guide who knows a lot about Culture, food, faith and the city. Overall highly recommended!

5.00Our tour with Pooja was fantastic! Come hungry, because you're going to try a *lot* of absolutely delicious things, from sweet to savory, snacks to beverages . . . everything! Vegetarian? No problem! Most things were veg or I had a veg option for the one or two stops that weren't. We were thrilled to visit street vendors we'd never have found or tried on our own, to visit several different neighborhoods and markets in Mumbai, to take a local commuter train, and to get a chance to talk with some of the vendors. Pooja provided history and context that added to our appreciation for the food, and we really enjoyed getting to know her a bit as well and how she became a tour guide. Worth noting: there are opportunities to sit down throughout the tour (for those who may worry about that), and Pooja made sure we had plenty of water and sanitizing handiwipes (street food can get messy!). There were 8 people on the tour, and Pooja created a fun group dynamic right from the start, which made the tour even better. One of the best things we did in Mumbai!

5.00I did a food tour with Sunil and it was excellent. We went to all the places with classic Indian street food. Everything was delicious and I didn't have any issues with hygiene. Sunil was a wonderful guide. He answered all the questions we had with calm patience. He has a great attitude. I enjoyed learning about the food in mumbai from him.

5.00Fantastic opportunity to try a wide range of local food without having to worry about quality. Sunil was a great tour guide, giving a lot of background information on the food and always being careful to ensure that we, as foreigners, know what to be careful of eating/drinking. You will definitely leave super full so don’t bother eating breakfast/lunch beforehand
