  Having been on many Viator tours previously. This was by far the best. Garry’s knowledge, his ability to share detailed information, his good humour and story telling ability made it an experience to remember. Would highly recommend.

  Garry was a great guide having a family connection with the events of 1942. Being an aviator I particularly liked going to the Aviation Museum.

  Great tour, Garry is a wealth of knowledge on Darwin and the war, goes to places the other tours don't and has many many amusing local stories.

  Garry, is the most informative, interesting and at the same time entertaining tour guide I’ve ever experienced. His personal interest and subsequent investigation into the bombing of Darwin, and its associated historical elements, unlocks so much of an otherwise censored part of Australia’s history. This is a must do tour for anyone visiting Darwin who has an interest in Australian and/or military history.

  We did not travel in a 11 seater bus. It was a car. My partner & I were allocated the third seat in the back area. We found it cramped & uncomfortable & hard to get in & out of. My partner is 6ft & near 70 ys of age. Our driver was friendly & knowledgeable.
