Aboard the boat, the sights will be accompanied by informative commentary about the region as well as a morning tea to satisfy your on board cravings. The morning cruise will last for 45 minutes until you reach your next point of call; the Breakfast Creek Hotel.

This old place oozes history, and if you have time, visit the Newstead House in Newstead Park.

Had no trouble finding the area to meet the boat. I sat on the upper deck and had no problem hearing the commentary. I saw other reviews where they said that it was difficult to understand, but I found it to be very clear. The scones and coffee or tea was a nice start to the day. Breakfast Creek Hotel was a bit tricky to find. The keg tapping was interesting and the (recommended) fish and chips tasty. Definitely recommend this for an overall relaxing tour, good history , and with a little bit of exercise on the way to and from lunch.

Arrive early for the riverboat cruise as they leave promptly on time. The upper deck provides a nice view and a breeze. The lower deck has the bar and is more like a party atmosphere. Some of the guests exited the vessel for a lunch at a lovely historical hotel restaurant. The other guests remained on board the vessel. I do not know where they went.

There was no notification that the lunch would take place so far away. We had our 94 year old father with us and a 10 minute walk for others was a 30 minute walk for us. Lunch took over an hour from when we arrived to get food. We ended up having it put in a takeout box since we had to get started back if we were going to get back to the boat on time.

What a great introduction to this river city! We enjoyed the narration and views very much. The delicious and well-organized lunch at a historic pub was perfect as was the pace. We highly recommend this tour.

It was a gentle travel up river with a refreshing breeze The food in the pub/restaurant was really good, hot, nicely presented. The place was clean and very comfortable
