Bici Bucerias
Arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour starts. We are located on the South end of the town by the Royal Decameron Hotel. Here you will meet your VeloGuide Susy and be fitted on our comfy Specialized Rolls. These are cruiser bikes that are well maintained and have 7 gears. After a pre ride check and chat, maybe a group photo, we will roll! Get ready to discover the food and sites of Bucerias
Bucerias
Soak up Bucerias sights and food on an easygoing 6-mile (10-km) ride. Our informative guide takes you to local spots to sample locally roasted coffee, artisanal juice, and mouthwatering tacos. In between food stops, cycle into different parts of Bucerias and the countryside, and admire views of the Sierra Madre mountains. Top off this morning tour with a refreshing cerveza! This small-group tour is limited to ten people, ensuring personalized attention. The first stop will be at a local café for a nice espresso, latte or iced coffee along with a tasty pastry. From there, we take you to a local artisan juice maker for some of the most refreshing agua fresca in our bay area. Now that you are fully caffeinated and hydrated, we will venture off and roll through the Mexican countryside while enjoying the vistas of the beautiful Sierra Madre mountains. On the return we will stop for yummy carnitas tacos and then our final stop you will taste amazing fish tacos and fresh made ceviche ....and a super cold beer! * note that we sometimes have to change the itinerary, stops and food items based on the day of the week. 4.00The terrain is on the roads in Bucerias, and it is very bumpy throughout. It is not A smooth flat surface. There are no major hills, and the terrain is not difficult, but one has to be prepared for constant bumpy surface. Our guide, Pepe, was very instructive about how to use the bikes, which are e-bikes, and he was watchful for our safety with the local traffic. He was also very engaging and a lot of fun. Yo can choose a regular bike if you wish, & helmets are also provided, but are optional. The pace is relaxing and slow, and one has to watch for traffic, pedestrians, etc., but it is manageable. The tour is actually a taco/birria/enchalada tour, and if you are vegetarian or not a meat eater, this tour is not for you, as there are no fish or vegetarian options. The taquerias and restaurants were authentic, and if you like authentic Mexican fare, you will enjoy the food. We enjoyed the restaurants, & really liked the enchiladas with the mole sauce.

5.00A great value. Do this one early in your stay, and get an introduction to local foods and restaurants. Good bikes, great tour guide. Really a delightful and low-effort way to spend a few hours.

5.00Awesome foodie tour with Pepe of Bici bicycles in Bucerias. 3 hour tour with multiple stops at local eateries - places we would not have found. Pepe explained the significance of the local dish, history and ingredients. We even tried the “mix” carnitas - highly recommended by Jason 😜

5.00This is a great morning spent with Pepe! He was awesome to have guide our tour (very knowledgeable!), and was able to easily pivot when needed to accommodate our dietary restrictions. I would highly recommend you take the Bici bike and food tour!

5.00Best food tour we have been on. Pepe was great and brought us to (4) spots, the food was super tasty. Birria was our favorite although the chiliquitos was a close 2nd. Highly recommend, biking is a great way to explore Bucerias
Excellent way to see the city and sample local cuisine you may not find on your own.

5.00Great way to see the city of Bucerias and meet other visitors. Our guide Pepe was very accommodating of any preferences in selecting locations to visit and made sure everyone was comfortable with operating the e-bikes. Just note that you will be riding bikes all over the city. Some streets are bumpy and others are quite busy.

5.00Pepe was a great host. The e-bikes make the experience very enjoyable. All of the food was very good, the portions were just right. The short details of each type of food or its history was interesting and not too much. Highly recommend this tour as a great way to start your day.
