5.00If you like conservation this tour is for you. It’s educational, you’ll walk around the center and visit very nice local shops, and then the butterfly that’s where you eat and make tequila. I loved 10/10

4.00It about 6 hour tour for a great price. However, they try to sell you stuff pretty much at every stop. The guides were great and so was the transportation in a AC vehicle. The jewellery store was not worth it at all.

1.00DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR! Everyone gets charged a different price at the ports based on if you speak Spanish or not. They take you to a bunch of random stores where you are pressured into buying stuff. A good portion of the tour is spent walking through the city in the heat where they take you shop to shop. Areas like the Malecon you get about 10 minutes to take pictures before they rush you to the next thing. The “butterfly exhibit” which is just a cage with some nets in the back of a restaurant was probably the best part but you get maybe 5 minutes to interact with the butterflies. Food at the restaurant is over priced and nasty, when we asked to go to a restaurant down the street the tour guide got VERY angry saying they would leave us if we are not back in 10 minutes. We were scared to get left 45 minutes away from port so we did not go, they then proceeded to take an hour at this location swimming in the lake and eating at the restaurant. The tour guides only want you to buy from where they take you because they earn a portion of the sales. The “tequila tour” was a 1 oz cup that they used to distribute between 4-6 different peoples cups so you definitely were just getting a small sip. They completely skipped the beach because they mismanaged time. We were late back to the ports and the tour guides said “well the boat always lie about the all aboard time”. Overall we were very disappointed in the experience and would never do this tour again, we basically spent 4 hours just walking around random streets or sitting around miserable.

3.00Not really for English speakers, at least on the day I went. The guide was super nice, but spoke very little English. The butterfly sanctuary was a bit boring, the beach was nasty, and the lunch I had was not very good.
