8:00am - pickup at your hotel / lodging / Airbnb / hostel. The river is 20 kilometers (50 minute) driving from the west of Cali and 11 kilometers (25 minutes) driving from the south of Cali. 9:00am - approximate arrival to the river. You will have the opportunity to enjoy and explore the river to your liking, with several spots we can go to, from super easy breezy accessible spots, do the trail circuit, or hike to a nearby waterfall. River fun, healthy fun! Breathe fresh air and bathe in the crystal clear, chilly river water. For nature and outdoor lovers. We will also have time to consume food. 11:00am - approximate time to head back into the city and to your lodging. 12:00 noon - approximate time back at your lodging.

3.00Very authentic, not in a good way. I was informed about the driver and guide by WhatsApp. The guy who picked me up had a different name, he came in a cab. He gave me two sentences in broken English, asked me about where I want to go first. That got me by surprise. I was the only customer, sitting in the back. We left, the guide and the driver talked continuously to each other in Spanish (my Spanish is good enough to understand it was about the last women they met and how much they had costed). All my alarm bells rang, and I insisted to be dropped off immediately. Three stars for this all clichee Colombian experience in the back of a Cali Cab.

5.00My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Juan. He was very informative with everything around us. This was our first time ever booking a tour, as we normally go out and explore by ourselves. And we absolutely loved this tour. The fruit we tried for the first time and the fruity smoothie drink were amazing (thanks to Juan!) The park where the river and trails are, both waterfalls and the hike up the second one were so beautiful!! Pictures do not do this place justice. 1000000% recommend booking with Juan!

5.00Juan was an amazing tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable of Cali and the surrounding region. This was my second tour that I went on with him, and both were great! On this tour, in particular, I experienced the natural beauty of Colombia. You'll get to see a local park just outside the city that's situated next to the river. You'll get to see and hear countless different types of birds, people swimming in the river, and possibly even a delicious smoothie near the end. Next, Juan will take you to the waterfalls, which are stunning to say the least. You'll have an opportunity to swim under the falls and relax in the refreshing cool water. Overall, it was a phenomenal experience, and I would highly recommend this tour and any other tour you are considering taking with Juan.

5.00Juan is very knowledgeable about his culture and the rich history. He is bilingual so those who speak no Spanish would love him. He stopped along the way to purchase some local food from a street vendor which was delicious and filling . I will be touring again when I return to do his Salsa tour.
