Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
Additional dives may be booked and paid for on board (subject to availability). Maximum of three dives in a day.
Children under the age of 12 years are not permitted to dive.
Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive
Children must be accompanied by an adult
If its raining on your day of travel, the tour will still go ahead. If Calypso cancels due to poor weather, mainly high winds, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
Cancellation fees may apply if less than 24 hours notice is given prior to departure

5.00Wonderful experience!! The staff was super nice, friendly, and helpful. Three different dive/snorkel spots; lunch; drinks. Professional photographer to take pics above & below the water. Would recommend this experience to everyone!!

4.00No matter what your level of experience with snorkeling or diving, Calypso will make sure you get to see the beautiful Barrier Reef. The staff is ready to help in any way they can, even a really terrible swimmer like me got to experience the snorkeling experience and have a wonderful time. To me, the Great Barrier Reef is definitely a world wonder. Also the tour was just the right length, we got back in plenty of time to have a full evening of fun back in Port Douglas. My only minor complaint is that the food they served for lunch made me nauseous. Maybe, that's not the point of the cruise, but better food would make for a better day.

5.00Professional, helpful, Kind and encouraging staff helped all 50 of us to snorkel— from the levels of those who could dive to those who hadn’t snorkeled for 40 years. Sting suits were supplied to all, with noodles or life jackets available to use as well. Captain even brought out the glass bottomed dinghy for one family member who couldn’t snorkel on that particular day so they could experience seeing the beautiful reef corals and fish. Very comfortable diving boat with wide multiple stairs for ease of getting in and out of waters plus great lunch and snacks and drinks. Marine biologist on board to give a reef talk. Bring your own towel, dry bag for camera phones - they also have reef- friendly sun block and 1 per person tablet of sea sick pill if it’s a very windy/ choppy day. Great experience at a world heritage site. Great staff making it a good experience for all. One of best trips of Australia.

5.00Snorkeling was excellent. I am 71 with mobility and some health problems and the assistance provided by the staff particularly Kate and Eva was exceptional and made the snorkelling such a great experience. The food was good The safety was good. The talk on the reef was great- I cannot speak highly enough about the trip.

5.00It was great! Our dive master Lisa was really knowledgeable and fun. She made the whole experience so good! The rest of the crew was very nice and sweet. We had a really good time and would scuba dive with them again!

5.00Our family had the best time on a snorkel and dive trip with Calypso to three locations on the Outer Reef. Although we had all planned to learn to dive on the boat, only two of us ended up being able to do it. The staff was incredibly kind to my very disappointed teenager (who was told on the boat that he couldn’t dive) and also very helpful when my youngest got very seasick. Once we were in the water, we couldn’t believe what we were seeing. The diversity and volume of fish and corals astounded us. We’ve snorkeled in the Caribbean and the experiences just don’t compare. This was an absolute highlight of time in Australia. Thank you, Calypso!!

4.00Lovely coral and lots of fish to see. Rather cramped seating inside the boat. The lunch was fantastic with lots of fresh meat and salads. The staff were lovely and very helpful.
