  The tour I can really highly recommend. Breakfast at sunrise on the Mekong was not only delicious, but also an unforgettable experience. The market and the insights into people's lives on the water were particularly exciting. However, I liked the boat tour through the small canals surrounded by lush greenery. A special thanks goes to our boatmaster, who guided us safely and confidently through all situations. The preparation of the traditional meal was also a real highlight. Our guide Cory was also absolutely great – entertaining, friendly and at the same time very informative.

  We had an unforgettable tour in the Mekong Delta today with our guide Cory. Cory spoke fantastic English and provided us with deep insights into the life and culture of the Mekong Delta communities. The tour was not only beautifully scenic but also incredibly informative.   Great experience! Sunny is a very good guide! He passionately tells the story of his country and the Mekong! Everything is very well organized, the activities are well organized and very interesting. Sunny will make you taste full of fruit, we have full taste buds and eyes full!   100% recommended!! Real experience with Sunny, a knowledgeable and super friendly local guide!! You not only visit the market, but also connect with the culture there, visiting a rural non-tourist area and even a farmhouse, where you learn an interesting recipe. The price includes a traditional coffee in the market and a bowl of hu tieu, delicious soup that goes great! Then we also ate what we cooked in the cottage, with very rich local fruits.   Great experience! Sunny, our local guide, explained everything with care and sympathy. You have the possibility to know the floating market and local life.   A wonderful experience with the most professional guide I have ever been with, is called Sunny. Very close, polite and explained with much humor the local life and history of the Mekong.   First of all, out tour guide Sunny was great with really good English. He explained everything and answered our questions. He is a very polite, professional and pleasant. The tour itself started at the floating market but unlike other tours that I researched, it went beyond the floating market. We walked and visited local village and saw a local family's home for 8 generation with a very lovely family. There was no rush at all. There was a demonstration of cooking a local simple dish and was really good, which Sunny demonstrated on clay wood burning pot. After that we visited a family that still live and make a living on the boat. The whole experience was great and I can easily say that this was the best tour that I've had ever, and I've been on many tours in many counFirst of all, our tour guide, Sunny, was absolutely exceptional. His English was clear, fluent, and easy to understand, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable and welcomed, and throughout the day he explained everything with patience and enthusiasm. Whenever we had questions, he took his time to answer them thoroughly. You could really feel that he cares about his guests and takes pride in sharing the local culture. He is polite, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely pleasant to be around—truly one of the best guides I’ve ever had. The tour itself began at the floating market, but what made it stand out from all the other tours I researched was that it didn’t stop there. Many tours only take you around the market for a short time and then bring you back, but this one went far beyond the typical experience. After exploring the market, we continued deeper into the local area, walking through quiet paths and visiting a nearby village. We even had the chance to step inside a family home that has been passed down through eight generations. Meeting this lovely family was one of the highlights of the day. They were warm, welcoming, and eager to share stories about their life, traditions, and history. There was absolutely no rush, no pressure, and no sense of being pushed through a program. It felt authentic, calm, and respectful. Another memorable part of the tour was the cooking demonstration. Sunny showed us how to prepare a simple but delicious local dish using a traditional clay pot over a wood-burning fire. Watching him cook in this traditional way made the experience feel very real and connected to the culture. The aromas, the sounds of the fire, and the relaxed setting made it such a special moment. And of course, the dish itself tasted wonderful—fresh, simple, and full of flavor. After that, we visited another family who still live and work directly on their boat, making a living in the same way their ancestors did. Seeing how they maintain this lifestyle was both fascinating and humbling. It gave us a deeper appreciation for the traditions that continue to thrive here, even as the world changes around them. Overall, the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. I can honestly say that this was the best tour I have ever taken, and I’ve been on many tours across different countries over the years. What made it so special was not only the variety of activities and the beauty of the places we visited, but also the genuine human connection, the relaxed pace, and the feeling of truly discovering something authentic rather than a standard tourist attraction. Once again, I have to highlight how incredible Sunny was as a guide. His professionalism, friendliness, and deep knowledge made this tour unforgettable. I highly, highly recommend both the tour and Sunny himself.   We had a fabulous tour with the wonderful Sunny today. We opted for a private boat as it picked us up from the hotel (Legacy) jetty and 05.30 there was a lot better than having to get to the meeting point for 05.30! A wonderful experience, combining the floating market with a more authentic trip up the small and quiet canals. 6 hours of great and varied entertainment, lovely food, interest and fun. Sunny was fab, spoke excellent English, was so knowledgeable about the local plants and herbs, took us away from the crowds and then dropped us back at the hotel in the boat. Couldn’t have asked for more and wonderful value. Sunny by name, sunny by nature! Do this tour with him, you won’t regret it.
