  Our experience started out a bit rocky. The van smelled like smoke and was very dirty. And the driver barely spoke any English, but overall we had a good time. We saw from other reviews that the upgrades weren’t worth it and were glad we skipped them. There were too many “upsells” but if you stand firm, the experience is worth the money. Even though there were over 200 people there, we only had a dozen people or so in our group and our guide was very entertaining. The photo package was $125 for our group of 5, but well worth it. Enjoy!

  We really enjoyed this excursion. Hotel pickup and drop off were seamless. Johnny and Rapa were great guides for the zip lines, ATV’s and Cenote. The Mexican lunch. Definitely recommend taking the zip line off or jumping off the platform into the Cenote. The photos were expensive for our group, but we understand that we had a large group (11). Because we were a larger group, our experience was like a private tour. No others customers were paired with our group. Would definitely recommend CANCUN ADVENTURES to families.

  If you’re looking for a personalized adventure experience, this probably isn’t it. The entire day felt like being cattle-fed through a machine, shuffled from one activity to the next with little regard for individual guests. Everything was highly commercialized and focused on moving large groups through as efficiently as possible. What frustrated us most was the constant pressure to spend more money. It seemed that every stage of the journey came with another upsell, extra fee, photo package, tip request, or add-on. By the end of the day, it felt less like an adventure and more like a series of opportunities to extract additional money from tourists. A particular disappointment was the VIP upgrade pitch at the start of the day. We were told that only 22 people would receive the VIP experience, creating a sense of exclusivity and urgency. The package was marketed as including unlimited food and margaritas, but what wasn’t made clear was that this “unlimited” offering was restricted to a brief 30-minute window. In practice, it felt more like a marketing gimmick than a genuinely premium experience. The day also featured a couple of lectures that were unintentionally ironic. One was about the importance of protecting nature and reducing our impact on the environment—a message that might have landed better had we not just spent time riding ATVs. The other was a lesson on how to recognize and appreciate quality tequila, followed by some of the worst margaritas we’ve had in Mexico. For anyone considering the trip, don’t feel pressured into buying the bandana, water shoes, or goggles. Despite how strongly they’re recommended, none of them are actually necessary for the activities. The activities themselves were enjoyable enough, but the overall experience left a sour taste. If you’re happy being moved through a tightly managed tourist conveyor belt while being presented with regular opportunities to spend more money, this may be exactly what you’re looking for. If you’re hoping for something more authentic, relaxed, and customer-focused, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

  This was overall a terrible experience. Over 200 people during the morning booking, pushed through the activities at a break-neck speed to make way for the afternoon booking--barely time to get out of our bathing suits from the cenote. The quads (ATVs) were terrible and in disrepair (I grew up riding quads), which spewed exhaust. The zipline was an assembly line. The pressure to tip during various parts of the event was terrible. It's obvious this has become a money grab and they try to push as many people through as possible. No interest in making it a pleasant experience. The tequila tasting is a ruse to get you to buy tequila from them before you depart. Not sure what I was expecting from a tour close to Cancun (touristy), but I would absolutely not recommend this to anyone.

  This experience was really great with all the adventures. It was really well thought out and very organized. Had a great time with the ATVs however, a couple of them kept breaking down, which was unfortunate. We had to wait for everybody. I didn’t like the fact that we kept going around around in circles, it would’ve been nice to kind of go out a little bit like I’ve done before with ATVs. Zip lining was great, but it was very small. People were very nice and the tequila tasting. Master didn’t seem very excited about his job. But the adventures were fun nonetheless. What was really lame was the two corn tortillas that they gave you with really small tiny fried fish and barely any sauce maybe two drips and then when I ask for more sauce, they said we don’t have any. There was no waters. We couldn’t get any water. They said they’d bring it and they never did. The food was not good at all very disappointed with the food but the adventures were cool. That’s why I gave it three stars.

  This activity was packed with fun. Our guide was enthusiastic and full of energy and always giving encouragement to those of us who were a bit nervous (like me on the big zipline). The cenote swim was the best! The kids liked using the zipline to jump into the water, as well as other "dive" or jump off spots. Of course, they did not appreciate the tequila tasting aspect of the tour, but they were glad for the AC in the room, and it didn't last too long. Also, we did not realize that the venue was such a drive from Cancun, but the kids thought it was worth it.
