Cable Car Ride ( Rope Way)

Experience the Chandragiri Hill cable car ride, a newly added attraction to the area. The panoramic views of the mountains and geographical hilly terrain landscapes are definitely the highlights of the hill.

Just 7 km away from Thankot, Kathmandu, Chandragiri Hills feels like a whole new world, altogether. The 2551 meter-high natural haven is surrounded by temperate wilderness with a fantastic panorama of the Himalayas as the backdrop. The closest location from Kathmandu to get a view of the majestic Mt. Everest is surely something that you shouldn’t be missing.

Chandragiri Hills has its historical significance as well. It was from these hills that King Prithivi Narayan Shah caught the first glimpse of a much scenic and prosperous Kathmandu valley, which in fact instilled in the king’s mind an idea of annexing the valley into his kingdom.

Chandragiri cable cars was my first time in a cable car. It was out of the world literally because we went up 2520m high from sea level. There is a lot of activities for adults like Ziplining, sky cycling, trekking, and play zone for kids. There is also a temple to visit and lock wall is there to wish. If you go early there will be less crowded and you can spend the whole day there.

I spent a good time with my travel buddies at this place. Just that we were a bit unlucky with the weather. It was raining quite heavy and the temperature dropped to 16°C. We could not see the peaks clearly from the hills. But we had great food and good chats with our nice tour guide. Will definitely come back here again when the time is right.

the scenery was so perfect and breathtaking 🤩 the view, ambience, i couldn't ask for more. Totally recommended for people to experience this once in a lifetime. i love itt 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

It was an amazing experience to be in nepal and My travel was well managed by Alpine team and Well maintained car and Drivers were very polite as well and The cultural dance with dinner was the best part of Nepal Nights.
