5.00Our trip to Lake Chapala and Ajijic was very enjoyable and fun. Our tour guide, Sergio Novia was very engaging and helpful, and our driver, Miguel, was extremely competent and friendly. Our group consisted of four couples from all over the world and we got along great, making our trip enjoyable and memorable. Our first stop was to the ranch store of Vicente Fernandez, the most famous Mariachis singer and film actor in Mexico. Although the ranch had not yet opened we visited the store and perused is many fine clothes, boots and shoes. Very interesting! The town of Chapala is very pretty and the Malecon is quite scenic and clean. We enjoyed the views and the perfect weather accorded us a pleasant time there. Sergio was very good about informing us about the area and its history and took good care of our group. We also enjoyed los voladores performance of the rope flyers by the waterside. Our next stop was to the Pueblo of Ajijic, which is quaint and full of narrow cobblestone streets. It’s Malecon is an also quite pretty and picturesque. We had lunch at Iguana de Piedra, which sits at the waterside. The accommodations and views are very nice, however, the food is average. Service is good, though. Overall, this tour was a great value and we had a very good time. Great guide and driver, and well organized!

5.00I had already taken with them a tour to tequila and spectacular service and on this tour was just as good. -They came to me at the hotel and the very friendly guide calls out girlfriend. -First stop at Vicente Fernández's house and then to Chapala, the latter spectacular place. -Then to ajijic where we toured and took pictures, to finally go to eat somewhere beautiful with a beautiful view. I return to my hotel and can only say thank you for a very pleasant day.

5.00We had a wonderful time on this excursion. Ronny was a very knowledgeable and generous guide. We learned a lot about the history of the region, Vicente Fernández, and the lake. The lunch was delicious and we enjoyed walking around the lakeside towns. We were headed to the Museo Cabañas the next day and Ronny took the time to tell us about José Clemente Orozco and his work. Highly recommend!
