2.00This $70/head tour was sold as providing a mix of food, history & culture. What follows is no reflection on the young man who conducted the tour but on management who put a member of staff into a position for which he was not properly trained. We went to the meeting point at the agreed time. We were told that the guide would be wearing a white polo shirt (company provided) but he arrived wearing a grey polo shirt and about 10 minutes late. The food tour included stops for chowder, lobster roll and oysters (all good - particularly the lobster roll) and was finished off with a fairly average ice cream. The tour should also have included the opportunity to sample poutine but that didn't happen. Amazingly it turned out that our guide did not like sea food....... There was little or no history & culture - the only thing mentioned were the mice attached to buildings. What should have been a pleasant tour turned out to be poor value for money!
