Located in the north of the country, Chobe is Botswana's third largest park, has its main geographical features of lush flood plains and dense woodland of mahogany, teak and other hardwoods now largely reduced by heavy elephant pressure. The Chobe River which flows along the Northeast border of the park, is a major watering spot, especially in the dry season (May through October) for large breeding herds of elephants, as well as families of giraffe, sable and cape buffalo. The flood plains are the only place in Botswana where the puku antelope can be seen. Birding is also excellent here. Large numbers of carmine bee eaters are spotted in season. When in flood various species of stork, duck and other waterfowl flock to the area. This is likely Chobe's most visited section, in large part because of its proximity to the Victoria Falls. The town of Kasane, situated just downstream, is the most important town of the region and serves as the northern entrance to the park.

You will be picked up at your hotel between 0800hrs to 0830hrs and transferred to the the gate of the Chobe National Park. The guide will take you through various pats of the paths. Several wild animals can be spotted there with lions, elephants and buffaloes popular sightings. After 3 hours you will exit the park for lunch of the day.
On full stomach, it will be time for a boat safari on the Chobe River. The river is rich in birdlife and present amazing views of animals as they come and drink. The safari will last for 3 hours before you are transferred back to hotel.

5.00Rodger is the best tour guide that we have had at chobe. He takes the trouble to cater for us our lunch and set up a safari lunch for us. He is informative and thoughtful when taking care of us. We highly recommend having him for our tours and he’s been helpful in telling us the stories behind each sighting we get to see all the big 5 and more

5.00Perfect service team, professional quality! Even in the rainy season, we had a perfect experience! Chobe National Park is very beautiful, and we saw ten lions up close on the safari in the morning. On the afternoon boat trip, we not only saw many hippos up close, but also saw a crocodile! 🐊 This was the first time we saw a crocodile, and it was so close. It was a perfect experience, I would definitely recommend it!

5.00we had an extremely beautiful game drive with Wild Africa Safaris. Rodgers and his employees are very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about Chobe and all the animals we saw. everything was amazing!! we even saw lions being chased away by elefants!! i can only talk positive about the experience with Wild Africa Safaris. highly recommend!!

5.00Rodgers is an amazing tour guide, with a lot of knowledge and experience in safaris. We did a game drive on my partner’s birthday and he made sure we had a great time where we saw many animals, including lions.

5.00Best guide ever worldwide. He explains and knows the bush perfectly. We found a pride of 11 lions. You feel very comfortable with him. If you visit Chobe you must do a game drive + boat cruise with that company
TOP Chobe Full day Safari with Rodgers

5.00I have done this Day Trip with Rodgers. We had a very good day and very nice weather. I was on this tour with a couple of Americans and 2 German girls. We have seen lots and lots of very beautiful wild animals : Giraffes, kudus, zebras, birds of all colors, crocodiles, elephants, buffalos, hippos, and the best of all lots of lions. I went 5 days in the Kruger National Parc and I did see only 1 lion very far away. I think these lions really like Rodgers, because they were waiting for him. I took wonderful pictures of these beautiful lions standing at 4 meters of our Land Cruiser. This car is very comfortable. Afterwards, we had a very nice lunch buffet in the Cresta Mowana Safari Resort and Spa. The food was excellent, and I even had a nice plate of cheese, which for a French person is very important !!! After, we went on the boat to do a very nice trip around Sedudu Island. Again, we have seen a lot of animals: Giraffes, kudus, birds of all colors, elephants, bufalos, hippos ... and very big crocodiles at 1 meter of our boat. After 2 days in Addo Elephant Park and 5 days in Kruger, I can say that this Tour was the best one. Thanks a lot Wild Africa Safaris, and Rodgers for this TOP Chobe Dull day safari. I will never forget it and will show to all my family all these beautiful pictures. Michel

5.00The game drive and education from Mr. Sibanda the tour guide was second to none. It was quite an excellent experience. Lifetime memories burnt in my memories. I really had a great time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Cherry on the cake if you get Mr. Sibanda as your tour guide!

5.00We loved the safety tips and awareness the guide provided. He had in-depth knowledge of the park and animal behaviour. I was particularly afraid of elephants, but his high level of knowledge, responsibility and confidence made to relax and enjoy the scenery and photography. He was prepared and willing to take time to allow us to where we wanted (since this wasn't my first time in the park) and he would suggest to us places that may be appealing to us. We also loved the driving experience and the comfort of the vehicle. Overall, the trip was exceptional and satisfactory. We would loved to book another with him soon

5.00The colors of sunsets and sunrises, but especially the amount of elephants and hippos we saw I think will remain an unforgettable experience. You will be able to witness everyday scenes having the impression of living inside a documentary.

5.00We had a boat cruise on day one and a game drive on day two. The boat cruise was great with lots of animals and scenery, and the wind was nice! The game drive is also happy to see lions, giraffes, zebras, impalas, and many other animals! You're lucky. Even as the end time was drawing near, if they found animals, they would pull over and eventually we were over time. lol Thanks, Rogers. Laugh It was cold in the early morning and there were few animals, so I recommend the time of day after the sun comes out and it gets a little warmer.
