Discover the beautiful Oxford on an unlimited hop-on hop-off bus tour for 24 or 48 hours! At your own pace, see all of the history and architectural beauty this city has to offer, hopping on and off the double-decker bus whenever you please. From the open-top deck you'll experience panoramic views of Christ Church College, Brasenose College, The Plain, the Sheldonian Theatre, Trinity College and even The Eagle and Child pub where J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis would meet up for a beverage! The on-board audio tour commentary will be sure to keep you fascinated, providing intriguing facts on the way round. Also enjoy an expertly guided walking tour, for a closer look at the local culture.

45-minute Stepping Through Oxford Walking Tour: Departs daily at 11:30am, 12:30pm and 1:30pm from 44-45 High Street. Departure at 2:30pm only during School Holidays (20th December - 4th January and 14th - 22nd February)
Please note that the guided walking tour is seasonal, and customers should enquire upon arrival for more information.
Mobile or paper vouchers accepted. Paper vouchers must be redeemed at City Sightseeing shop in Oxford Railway Station.
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the travel date selected at check-out

Her deep knowledge of Oxford’s history, stories, and hidden details was impressive, and her brilliant sense of humour kept everyone engaged and entertained throughout. Lesley has a wonderful way of bringing the city to life — every stop felt interesting, lively, and memorable. She was incredibly friendly, approachable, and genuinely passionate about what she does, which made the tour feel personal and enjoyable rather than just informative. This was easily one of the highlights of our visit to Oxford, and it was all thanks to Lesley’s energy, warmth, and expertise. 4.00Bus tour was OK, although with two of our party using hearing aids, the headpieces supplied were barely adequate, the tour was interesting. The audio descriptions were not always synchronised with the bus locations, which was confusing. A written handout, at the very least listing the immense variety and importance of places we saw, would have been educationally useful in following up on our visit In general, the tour was interesting, and gave us a good idea of the city layout, and a flavour of the city, its buildings and its previous inhabitants. In contrast, the walking tour, led by Penny, was excellent: relevant, informative, fascinating, and delivered with great humour. Well done, Penny.

5.00It was an amazing experience! Greg really knows his stuff. We had the opportunity to sit right next to him, and everything he said was truly insightful, and he mixed in so much information for so many different groups. As a young student, his knowledge of the various colleges of Oxford University was incredible. 100% recommend.

5.00We recently did the City Sightseeing Oxford tour. Our guide was thoroughly informative, sharing fascinating tidbits about everything from the Dreaming Spires to Harry Potter's connections with the city. The interactive elements made the history come alive, and I appreciated how courteous our guide was throughout. It was genuinely fun to explore both the ancient and modern sides of Oxford. A big thank you to Dave Dalton for making this tour so memorable! Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to delve into the wonders of Oxford!

4.00Great to wander around Oxford and see the sights either by hop on hop off who are located at the station. Once you get feel you can do your own wandering as we did. Lots of lanes, river walking areas, the churches, pubs and all the Harry Potter stores. Lovely old city. See some of the Colleges as well,
