This is an immersive cultural full day tour introducing visitors to some of the most interesting elements of Cambodian history and modern life. Also included are in depth visits to the renowned historic sites of the Genocide Museum and Killing Fields.

Encounters with local people are an essential and enjoyable element of this tour. Sam Ang, your guide, is a warm and friendly local Khmer. His extensive knowledge, anecdotes, and love of his culture ensure a truly personal and informative day.

This tour is suitable for families, groups and solo travellers alike, but please note that the Genocide Museum and Killing Fields are unsuitable for most children. At the Royal Palace and in temples, shoulders, backs and legs above the knee should not be exposed.

    Sam my guide made the tour enjable even though the killing fields and prison were gruesome, and his knowledge of the royal palace and the history and humour lifted the experience

    Sam Ang is excellent at telling the history of Cambodia as you visit its sites. He knows details and tells stories that even an informed tourist will find priceless. Sam seems to know all the locals, which gives the traveler an opportunity to meet and interact with real people. My tour with Sam was the highlight of my trip.
