  Our experience with Barney Tours was the absolute best! Our tour guide was very professional and kind. The city tour was perfect and our guide took us to all the hot spots of the city before it got super busy for the day. We also booked a horseback tour with Barney and this was the absolute best experience. We rode on the beach and our guide took us through the countryside where we experienced the beauty of local life. After our tour, our guide took us to a local restaurant on the beach and we had the best lunch under a beach umbrella! Would 100% recommend using Barney tours to anyone visiting Puerto Plata! Bonus, they take your pictures for you everywhere! Our instagram photos are top notch lol!

  We went to Dominican Republic on Msc world America. I contacted Barney on Facebook. He stayed very detailed and kept up with me even when I was completely busy and didn’t have time but needed to book my excursion so he did not keep in contact with me. I would’ve been sitting at the port bord lol ! Absolutely had a great time. We did the city tour the Dune buggies. He took amazing pictures of us didn’t rush us. Let us do our shopping let us tour. The city took us to Key landmarks gave us information everywhere we stopped. We had coffee, chocolate and Mr. Mamajuana (Dominican drink) ! We will be back in December on another cruise and I 100% will use him for a different excursions. Do you have a beautiful country down there?

  We had an amazing experience with Dominican Atlantic Barney Tours! We arrived on a Carnival Cruise, and they were very easy to find once we disembarked the ship. We did the buggy tour and city tour in the Dominican Republic, and both were beyond amazing. Adrian was our tour guide, and he did an outstanding job making the entire day fun, informative, and memorable. The buggy ride was a real fun time, and the city tour gave us a great opportunity to experience the culture, people, and beauty of the Dominican Republic. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and Adrian made sure we enjoyed every part of the tour.   From the minute we stepped out of our cruise boat we instantly felt welcomed from Barney and his group. They offered us beverages, we had a private ride and tour guide the whole Time and was welcomed with amazing people throughout the way.   We had an incredible experience with Barney from Dominican Atlantic Transfer Tours! He took us on an unforgettable private tour that included horseback riding through the countryside and even in the ocean. It was such a unique and beautiful experience. Barney went above and beyond throughout the entire day. Not only was he an excellent guide, but he also became our personal photographer, making sure to capture amazing photos and memorable moments for us along the way. He gave us a fantastic tour of the city, shared the history of the area and its people, and made the experience feel personal, informative, and authentic. One thing we especially appreciated was that Barney took us to the places where the locals go, which meant authentic experiences, great food, and the best prices instead of tourist traps. Having it as a private tour made the day even more special, allowing us to move at our own pace and truly enjoy each stop without feeling rushed.   Barney was amazing. We did horseback riding and ATVs. We also did a city tour and shopping. The day we spent with Barney was the highlight of our vacation. My boys will remember this forever. They loved the ATVs!!! I cannot recommend him enough!!!!

  I reached out to Barney about an excursion. He sent me a list, and we chose the buggies. When I tell you he was great to work with. He partnered us with Alexander the Great 😊. He was so patient with us. He was very informative and allowed us time to explore. I can’t express enough how we enjoyed ourselves. I definitely recommend these guys….top notch!!!

  We did a private family tour with buggies and a city tour during our cruise stop. There were 7 adults and 2 kids in our group, and everything was handled perfectly from start to finish. Barney was extremely responsive from our very first messages — almost 9 months in advance. I was a bit hesitant to book that early, but it ended up working out great. Upon arrival, the team was very attentive, courteous, and right on time. Our main guide for the day, Paulino, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience even better. We really enjoyed the buggy portion as well as walking around the city. Afterward, they took us to a beautiful beach where we had lunch, which was a perfect way to wrap up the day. They were also very flexible and accommodating, customizing the tour based on what we wanted to do. They also took lots of photos and videos and sent to us at no additional charge. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend them.

  If you’re visiting the Dominican Republic, this tour is an absolute MUST! We booked both the buggy adventure and the city tour, and honestly, it was one of the highlights of our entire trip. The buggy ride was pure adrenaline and so much fun—driving through the rugged trails, splashing through mud, and taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. It felt like the perfect mix of adventure and sightseeing. The guides made sure everyone felt safe while still letting us enjoy every second of the experience. The city tour was just as amazing, but in a completely different way. It gave us a chance to truly experience the culture, history, and everyday life of the Dominican Republic.
